2020 Offseason Roster

Kwiatkowski...

When asked by NBC Sports Bay Area why he chose the Raiders, the opportunity to be a full-time starter was one of the main reasons he made the move.

“I felt that I’ve earned that [starting] spot, and that’s something I looked for in free agency. When they told me that, it was very appealing. They called very early and, when I spoke to them, it was very clear there’s an excitement around the whole organization with the move to Las Vegas.

That was one of a number of reasons why I [made my decision]. When we played them in London last year and I just loved the mentality they brought to the game where they come right at you. With their defensive scheme, I thought I’d fit right in. I gave it some time and took some other calls, but I ended up thinking the Raiders were the best fit for me.”

Ferrell needs to work on speed, speed speed. He's not fast twitch. Then again, I could see this in his senior year.
He'll never be a speed guy, and it's really not that important for him.

He will be a power technique guy and no amount of training will change that. I think bend and speed is something you either have or you don't.

Looking over sack leaders and those that consistantly produce, I believe that those DE's that best exhibit technique and power are the more consistent players.

It would not surprise me if he winds up playing a lot this season (next to Abram).

The Raiders' addition of DB Damarious Randall came across Tuesday's transaction wire and it now official. All of the team's free-agent agreements have now been pushed through.

could we actually have two NFL capable safeties and two NFL capable linebackers on the roster? feels weird and wrong for some reason.

The DL now has some decent talent as well; nothing spectacular, but some solid pieces. Unfortunately, the team badly needs at least one more boundary corner (and more likely a blue light special FA vet plus a high draft pick). But Guenther will be running out of excuses if his D doesn’t show significant improvement.

Marinelli in the wings as Defensive Coordinator to replace Guenther if that happens
