2020 Free Agent class + Legal Tampering

Randall fits better.
Randall has been better most of his career, Joseph was arguably better last year before his injury. 2018 Randall is quite a bit better than Joseph has ever played. And, yeah, Joseph is redundant with Abram back.

It’s why he got a prove it deal for one Richard.

Yeah. Supposedly dealt with a hammy all year.

He’s had some solid years. We will se how it goes. He’s a decent talent. Not a turd. Wasn’t expensive. Need spot.

B, B- signing. Not bad.

All the talking heads seem to like him better than Collins, Kwiat, Nassib and Heath. That’s a nice addition at this stage.

Yeah man I think we did a good job at adding talent on D. Plus all the young guys going into year 2. Probably going CB early, and add in Abrams who will essentially be a rookie...

Guenther might be out of excuses by the end of the draft. Luckily, there is a guy on staff who has the credentials to take over.

On paper we might be two games better BEFORE the draft. Not too shabby.

Roster has come along well over the last two years.

Littleton/Kwiat/Collins/Nassib/Randall/Heath... that's not a bad influx of defensive talent. Littleton is the only potential 'stud' but there's lots of improved positions there. Now go grab a stud in the draft.

I think Collins and Nassib could be break out players this season. Our safety position has been strengthened with the acquisition of Heath and Randall. I hope Abrams stays healthy.

Most impact?

Probably a Corner if we pick a good one. We really don't have any corners.

I damn well know I'm not passing on Kinlaw or Murray or Chaisson or Queen because we :::need::: a corner though.
If we could land another corner that can play solid like Mullen did as a rookie I'd feel a lot better about our defense this year. Dare I say I actually don't hate our front 7 for once.

I've been thinking the last week or so that maybe Murray/Queen aren't off the table following FA like some of us (me specifically) thought. What's the thing that Mayock said in the season retrospect? He needs to do a better job of providing depth (specifically when considering the performance of the LB position in 2019) for his coaches. Getting 2 new starters and retaining 2 depth LBs (M.Lee and Morrow) doesn't really pass the sniff test for providing depth.

Maybe we see the Raiders target Jacob Phillips, Akeem Gaither-Davis, Troy Dye on Day 2/3. But maybe Mayock is going to go hard at the LB position even in the draft. If you add Queen to Kwit and Littleton, those are 3 guys who have a TON of range. And maybe you don't need to play nickel as much?

He can be a little bit of a turd so be prepared for it. Maybe he keeps his head down since it's a one year prove it deal. Word out of Cleveland is he would skip practices when it got too cold. Had some issues in GB with personality as well. He's not a character guy but has played good football and it's a low risk deal for us at a position of need so I'm good with it.
