Ugly in Miami: Through two games of their eventual 0-16 seasons, the '08 Lions and '17 Browns had a combined yardage differential of 342 yards better than the '19 #Dolphins, who sit at -640, second only in history to the abysmal 1961 Raiders, per @NFLResearch.

These penalties and fines are ruining the game. It is already a league so dependent upon the QB that it’s no longer “the ultimate team sport” and it is only getting worse as they are coddled like this. Something has to give.

This league is a damn joke! I just got fined $21k for this hit, I signed up to play football not two hand touch. Bullshit! I don’t give a damn about these soft rules protecting QBs. Im gonna play MY brand of football everytime I step on the field. SMH https://t.co/SKlTmBBMf0

This really makes me hate the league office even more. And the Pats...

And, according to Miami Dolphins linebacker Raekwon McMillan, a third part of the reason why Brady doesn’t get hit is that officials warn players not to touch him during games.

Speaking to The Miami Herald, McMillan said he delivered a legal hit on Brady during Miami’s 43-o loss to the Patriots on Sunday and was warned not to do it again by game ref Bill Vinovich.

“Tom didn’t say anything but the referee said, ‘Stay off Tom.’ I put my hands up in the air and said ‘I got you,’” McMillan told the paper.

Though McMillan wasn’t flagged on the play, it’s just more evidence quarterbacks are going to get the benefit of the doubt with calls, especially in the wake of injuries to starting QBs Nick Foles, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Trevor Siemian and Cam Newton.

Yeah, I really need a new hobby. This shit is a problem.

Agreed.

I bet Otto Graham (insert any HOF QB) didn’t have refs babysitting him.

Ticks me off and oozes bias from league

Rosen era starts this week!

007 redemption tour on the way.

FML.

Miami will have a real good idea in a few weeks about where they are going with the first pick LOL.
Rosen gets drafted in the first round. Midget bumps him and now he’s a Dolphin. He’ll get bumped again when the Dolphins pick 1-1.

Good call Mr. Canadian.

LOL.

He’s played in both games man lol....

Their OL is a disaster. I’d bet money he flops, I wouldn’t hold it against him too much.

He came in during 40-0 drubbing mop up duty.

I doubt he will amount to anything but the dude has gotten a shit deal the whole way lol.

At least Miami can figure it out and know what they have by December. They won't have to pretend or fake it heading into the draft.

He has. I’m not a fan, but he has talent.

It’s just such a bad situation.

Effort is a BIG issue there if you have watched...

Can’t coach effort.

I could see Irvin and Smith tag teaming this ho with MJD heading home to his family instead....

I am not that far off IMO...
