2017 Free agents

"McGloin would command a bigger contract and, surely, expect to compete for the starting job next season, if not in Oakland then somewhere else in the NFL."

If not in Oakland? Come on bro...

I know right? Most of the other teams beat writers actually talked about a free against who has actually done something....not made a prediction based on play from 3 years ago.....at a position we just drafted a tad high at.....Stupid article....unless.....it comes true....there is that possibility lol.

How dare you speak ill of the incumbent Golden Clipboard Award winner? Notice how he also makes sure there is a seat on the bench for tired players? How about the Gatorade is just the right temperature? Or the hand sizes of all players should cold weather present a need for gloves?

These things don't take care of themselves. All this while communicating on text for approval of JonJon.

For 4-3 teams looking for some help on the weak side, the top available player is easily Malcolm Smith of the Raiders. In Seattle, the Super Bowl XLVIII MVP was a role player—a minor cog in the Legion of Boom.

In Oakland, Smith has become a linchpin for the Raiders—a key component of the team's return to the postseason. A strong argument can be made Smith is Oakland's best defensive player whose name isn't Khalil Mack.

And as such, the odds that Oakland lets him test the free-agent waters don't appear especially good.

I expect Perry Riley Jr. to be extended. Don't feel like we'll make many big splashes this offseason. We've played 14 rookies this year, have a feeling we'll draft more and look to develop the other guys. If we do use up some of our cap I'd hope we use it on the defense.

Exactly we need interior Dline, a LB that can cover, we also need at minimum one corner and did I mention we need interior Dline?

I still think a quality tackle to play on the left or right side is needed

Penn has a lot of mileage on his tires and right tackle is the biggest weakness on the line

Yep this team still has major needs. Crazy how thin we are.

I think Riley was a key reason our D went from confused Dumb to middle of the road ( and great at closing out games) ...Red special please...
