Yes it is so Raider fans. The mighty Oakland Raiders fans stooped to referring to upcoming games as ________ week.

As Celtic Raider pointed out weeks ago I don't recall ever having a Donkey week or Chef week or a Chargers week or a Seahag week. In fact it was just the other way around. Those sorry ass teams were so obsessed and worried about the Raiders that they had to focus on coining a special week for their most feared opponent. Now we've come to this? Just shows how far the Raider Nation has fallen. It sucks.

Anyway, whatcha got? How do you see this game going?

Last week we thought Tennessee had a chance. That didn't end well. In fact it barely started well. Didn't even get my coffee before it was 14-0. Ugh.

I see more of the same this week. I hate Kansas City more than any team in pro football but they're better than us (right now) and they're playing in a place that is traditionally difficult for any opposing team. They are playing for a better playoff seed and won't take their foot off our necks. The Raiders are playing for -- well nothing but maybe Cable's job.

Chefs 27 Raiders 20

Hello 7-9..

The Raiders are playing for -- well nothing but maybe Cable's job.

I actually see a lot of motivation for the team going into this game. Players will be playing hard for Cable if they think his job might be at stake. They'll also be playing for that 6-0 undefeated division record. This game is about proving that we are a legit contender. We might not be going to the playoffs, but we have a chance to beat the team that is and give them a reality check. It's about making a statement going into the offseason, and not having a losing record for the first time in a long time.

We've got several players heading the FA, they'll play hard.

They've got to get their foot onto our necks first.

With Jacoby, and our scholarship ST Coach  guiding the blockers, returning opening kicks for TD's that's a tough order.

And very few teams this season have been able to keep us down this season.

Someone somewhere pointed out we've had 3 blowout losses this season. Sure, but how many games were we down early and never gave up, never quit, and made a game of it, even if the outcome was pretty much assured?

It's funny how quickly people forget the teams that just rolled over and let opponents club the crap out of us while laugh on the sidelines.

We're playing smash-mouth football again, even when we're losing. That's what Raider football used to be about. That's what it's become again.

If we lose this game, we'd better send them limping into the playoffs. It's the neighborly thing to do.

That would be the next best thing to winning.

Send Cassell to the bench for their playoff game. LOL @ Brodie Coyle --- M-O-N-E-Y.

This team is not going to lay down. They do have a lot to play for as several on here have pointed out. This defense has got to step up this week. Cassell is on top of his game and the Chefs have a great running game. Some think the loss to Indy could have been avoided if Seymour was on the field. Maybe. It's apparent that we need more depth at several key positions - DL, LB, Safety.

Defense will win or lose this game for us.

Fuck that, We are about to whip the Chefs ass and sweep the west. Book it

I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but this game has a similar vibe as when we ruined KC's playoff chances on our way to respectability in the Gruden era.

Maybe... but Chefs have nothing at all to play for. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pull their starters (like Cassel) early as they might as well rest some guys in prep for their home playoff game the following week. Hard to see a "war" out there in this scenario... but who knows how Haley might play this one...

I don't give a crap if this game means nothing to the Chiefs playoffs or if they bring back Steve freakin Bono to play QB... There will still be 70,000 fat Raider haters in Arrowhead cheering against us and there will still a lot to play for... A win means the first non losing season since 02, and a win would give us 4 straight wins at Arrowhead...

A win doesn't affect our draft position any so I wanna curb stomp the fookin Chiefs... So help me if Cable throws Nick Miller and some other spare in the starting lineup as a way to get a look at next year, I'll beat the fug over the head with my Jim Harbaugh for head coach sign...

77-0, Raiders.

The Chiefs can eat a big bag of floppy dicks.

I'd like to amend my post to mirror his, especially the floppy dick part.

We are going to play well and KC is going to pull some guys...they have to with a playoff game next week.

the 6-0 in the division seems to mean a lot as does 8-8. Great point about the FA's too. Good time for Jason to show us he's our QB.

I'm not against a chop block on Tambi Hall...

I don't think so. They're playing to improve their playoff seed to #3 which means they will avoid NE until a possible AFC Championship game.

That's huge...that's what they're playing for.

I don't like Oakland much in this game.

Cold weather.
Eastern time zone game.
Season is shot - as far as playoff motivation
Deflated after last week's dump.
Playing a team we already beat.

I could see the Raiders playing as if they ended their season last Sunday.

KC - 33
OAK - 13

Hope I'm wrong.

if they play that way then Cable should definitely be fired.
I say we come out and light that ass up. Prediction- Raiders 27 Chiefs 20
