On Derek Carr, raiders 2018 draft picks, young building blocks and more.

Oh, the fallout from the Mack trade is not lost on anyone. Nor is KO’s poor play the last two years and being traded for basically a 6th. And if I’m the Jets, and just landed an All Pro caliber OG, I’d run him to interviews and play up his feelings about Gruden too. We play the Jets this year. Good business.

Reeeeeeach.

He's still wildly overpaid.

No heart. No courage. Big contract. Makes no sense.

On the first two, I have to disagree. There’s no way Osemele says all those gushingly nice things about him if he didn’t respect him as a teammate... and you don’t gain that respect by having no heart and no courage.

If it were me, I’d have led with “no wins,” because, well.... you know.

You know in Law and Order when they discredit a witness like this, it discredits everything he said
Good thing there is jury nullification, to protect good guys like me from you.

I try to avoid using wins as a QB stat. There may be merit to it. I'm not sure, honestly. But the blame is too easily deflected onto the rest of the team, painting Carr as a victim and not at all part of the problem.

Not here, typically. Every damn where else, though.

What's impossible for me to avoid is seeing a panicky QB who's visibly scared of being touched, occasionally freaking out in a clean pocket because he hears footsteps. He's had issues like that since he was at Fresno. These last two seasons, though...Jesus Christ. If conditions aren't nearly perfect, he just doesn't have the heart/spine/balls/whatever to do the job. He has the arm talent. He has more than enough athleticism. But the will to use them? Unseen since 2016. Hard to feel good about that.

I was at the Xmas Eve game in Oakland with a friend and her 11yo son. When Carr sacked himself on our first offensive series, the kid shouts "Oh my god, Carr! You're such a bitch!"

:lmao:

I deny any part in that. He could see it. Even his mom relented, saying "Alright. You may have a point."

And this was a game we won. Decisively. Beating a Broncos team that didn't show much heart themselves. Even in an overall adequate performance, Carr's lack of courage shone through.

Hard to imagine Gruden stomaching that level of weakness beyond this season.

Just saw some video of Kyler Murray at Cardinals rookie mini-camp.

Dude certainly doesn't look 5'10". Really looks tiny for a QB.

Well he was measured in front of hundreds of coaches and media members so I think that can be put to rest.

He weighed in at 211 a couple days ago. He’s 5-10 211 same as Russell Wilson as a rookie.

Listened to that thing closely...... Some parts seemed genuine.... certain things seemed like total bs.....

His account of the Redskins pregame made no sense and seemed way too revisionist to believe..... on one hand he says it’s no big deal.... but then on the other hand they had to do something as a group..... sounds like a big deal to me..... coaches and other people (ie Davis) got involved pretty much confirms that’s when the entire coaching staff lost the locker room.... There were only 3 players against it.... makes it much easier to single out those 3 players.....

Felt disrespected by Cable right out of the gates..... So basically for the 2nd consecutive season he mails it in.... Irony is this is the mentality of 60% of NFL players.... they’re there to just pick up a pay check.....

Interesting slip on Carr.... I’m sure guys “like” him because he’s a nice guy..... Respecting him as a leader is something different.... A lot of guys didn’t “like” Gannon, but they all respected him..... and Gannon’s teams were mentally tough and won a lot..... A critical part of that locker room didn’t respect Carr as a leader..... it showed on the scoreboard, it showed in the mental meltdown before the Redskins game, and unintentionally came through in what KO said.....

Fuck KO
Fuck Kaepernick
Fuck JDR/Tice/Downey/Norton

KO gives us a peek into what's actually been going on behind the scenes. But, because he didn't suck everyone's dick, some of the more retarded fans got their feelings hurt.

Jesus Christ. This fanbase is an embarrassment.

If you look up “fan” in a sports dictionary, you’d likely find that in the definition, along with rapid, lunatic, goofy, idiotic, etc. What’s your point?

KO gave us insight into the POV of an entitled former All Pro player who got traded for a 6th b/c he was part of the problem, checked out, refused to take responsibility for his part in the 2017 debacle, then waxed poetically about how things changed after Mack got traded (oh really).

That POV is a POS (IMO).

He’s a midget. Case closed.

You’d believe anything. I’m telling you he’s a flimsy midget. Gonna get broke in the NFL.

Meet me in Cleveland for the home opener. :sunny:

No hard feelings with KO. Dude was a good pickup for us and seems like a cool guy. If the interview showed me anything it's that he never really bought into Gruden or the system he was putting in. Obviously disheartening because I hoped the guy would rebound a little with a better offensive coach. Disappointing but the interview showed to me why we were probably okay with letting him go.

Nice job pulling that baseless shit take out of your ass. Raider Fan will take that over a first-hand account any day. Just spin, baby.

Actually not a bad idea.

That's where my naked friend lives. The one Incognito was trying to get with when she was me...or when I was her. Whatever. Baker Mayfield is there, too. I'm in.
