I don't know if it will ever be possible for "The Raiduhs" to be reborn.

It's a different time, and the ringleader of that whole thing is 2+ years in the dirt.

One thing that is clear to me is that the current 'tards (Reg, Mike) aren't going to be part of the rebirth.

I cringe whenever I see these clowns associated with, or claiming continuation with, past Raider glory.

They are the antithesis of what it was all about.

FU Reggie nugget of the day.

He gives up two 5th round picks for Matt Flynn and then gets a 7th for the guy that beat Flynn out for the starting job.

:rotf:... what a plan! Pryor got his shot so I have no complaints.

Except I knew Pryor was done here. He can't play QB in this league. Can't do it. Can't have it. -- some shit like that.

But...

In this overloaded draft class, one could argue that a 7 this year is equivilant to a 5 last year.

Granted, it's a really late 7, but one could still make the argument.

Yeah, but we gave up a 5th THIS year also right?

So it's really like a 3rd and a 7th using that argument.

Not sure I like that better.

Yeah, I didn't think that all the way through...

I was raped, thank you.

Is this going to become a new feature? I'm sure we can come up with one everyday at least until training camp.

Gonna be funny if McKenzie nails this draft, Watson and Hayden step up and make the pro bowl and the Raiders win 10 games.

Lot of mea culpa's coming!!!!!

Now that the Raiders’ official schedule has been released, maybe fans and players will temper expectations that were increased by a run on veteran free agents.

Regardless of the dates and times for the games, it was known that the Raiders would play three games against the Super Bowl XLVIII teams, five games against conference finalists from 2013, nine games against 2013 playoff teams, and 12 against teams with non-losing records from a year ago.

The specific configuration of games makes it even worse. If that’s possible.

Three of the first four games will involve 10:00 a.m. local time kickoffs, with a Week One game at the Jets, a Week Three game at the Patriots, and a Week Four “home” game against the Dolphins in London. Week Two features a visit from the Texans, who were 2-14 last year but who are expected to be considerably better in 2014.

Then comes the bye. And then comes the boom.

Chargers. Cardinals. At Browns. At Seahawks. Broncos. At Chargers. Chiefs. At Rams. 49ers. At Chiefs. Bills. At Broncos.

For a team with a coach and G.M. widely believed to be on the hot seat, maybe owner Mark Davis should consider how difficult this season will be before making a final assessment.

Given this slate of games, anything better than 5-11 should be regarded as a major accomplishment.

I'm so sick of previous excuses or possible excuses:

"We were digging out of the cap hell"
"I didn't want to rent a player (he didn't want to play here")
"We will have the toughest schedule next year"

Enough. Draft some good players Reggie. Coach them up. Find a way to get to .500 or better

Oh, bullshit.

Oakland had the most room under the cap this offseason and are supposed to have an NFL caliber head coach.

Making excuses for Mike's pitiful ass and it isn't even May yet. lol
