What will the NFL do in 2020?

That's the difference though. You won't have scrubs that no one wants to watch, which is why I didn't pay attention to the AAF or XFL.

If top shelf players bite, it's worth investing in, especially seeing that a lot of the country might still be wary about going out in the spring and will watch anything on TV.

Like what if some of these five star players are like I'm going to get this $3 mil because that's the only reason I'm here in college to begin with but we have no idea when college football is coming back so I can make it to the league. There is a market.

Seems like a long shot but who knows.

I feel it's less and less likely we'll be able to have a full season. I doubt there's anyway college even has a spring season the way things look. Football teams just have too many players/coaches/trainers/staff to be able to isolate themselves.

Anonymous agents' views on playing an entire season....differing views

  • “You’ll see a revolving door of free-agent players being signed and cut on a weekly basis. Too much money at stake for NFL teams.”
  • “NFL cancels season.”
  • “Yeah, they’re going to play a whole 16-game season. And the way that I say that that’ll happen is if need be, they’ll push it back into March. I mean, there’s contingency plans for everything. … The other thing is, this is different with football is that football is known as an injury sport. So It’s not uncommon for a team to be without four to six starters every week of the season. And I think that that’s why football is so arrogant in their belief that they can go ahead as normal.”
  • “Maybe four or five games.”
  • “Starts and stops. Ten to 12 games.”

These comments reflect the current status quo. Two weeks to change the hearts and minds of the powers that be.

Injury yes, but in this case if someone tests positive what happens? The UFCs they've been holding if someone tests positive the camp is out. I don't think they'll be able to just say one player is out and go home.

What if there is an outbreak on your line for instance. Like there is already a shortage of serviceable ones.

I think they're going to play until a player or coach dies, and that's going to happen.

A lawyer friend told me about a 26 year old that died he knows the other day. Lightning is going to strike somewhere, we just don't know where, and the league is praying it's not a star player or top end coach that it happens to because that will have lasting damage on the brand.

From what I understand it took Von Miller a month to get better, I'm not sure he's 100% yet.

Yep, and he's got asthma. It's going to happen. Just to who and when is the question. This is also why I don't think college sports get played this year.

And Michael Bidwell being hospitalized with it for a week may sway the owners’ thinking on it as well.

And I just read that Russell Westbrook tested positive. NFLPA will definitely bring that up in talks.

And I believe African -Americans are at higher risk. NFL is being stubborn. Virus has other plans....

What happens when the 5 morbidly obese men called the starting OL of any team get it? I don't see that ending well.

And the fact if the play one game, players with gauranteed money get the whole season paycheck I don't see owners taking the chance. Imagine playing 2 games and having to payout your entire payroll for the year?

On a different note is Direct TV going to still charge people signed up with sunday ticket?
