Lol. Been cutting my hair since I was a teen. Just have to put the half inch attachment in the clippers and you’re good to go.

Yeah it took me a few times to get the hang of it. Even when I go to a barber damn near every time I still come home and fix it...

Do pretty good but I cut other ppl’s hair better.

They make a guard you can find on amazon that you wear that makes cutting the back a helluva lot easier also. Since I don’t have to have a fade anymore I just use that. Works good.

Pictures or it didn't happen. We will shoot you straight about your looks.

I have been wanting to shave my head for several years but my wife throws a fit. This might be a good time to go in that direction.
I am a straight razor shaver that cleans up vintage razors and uses them which is a hobby in and of it's self. When the folks on the board are complaining about being bored I am experimenting with different hones and razors. I don't have much facial hair either but enough that I have to shave but now it's something that I actually look forward too.
I've shaved my head for years. A year or so after my son was born, my hair on top started thinning out, so I cut it short and then finally said screw it and took it off. There are very few people that can pull off the "horse-shoe" haircut, with Patrick Stewart being at the top of the list. I shave 3 times a week in the shower and save a shitload on haircuts. My wife has told me that I'm not allowed to shave my goatee or mustache off (depends on mood and time of year), since I apparently look like a pedo.

About 10 years ago I emptied my garage of shit, built cabinets, a wall over the door, carpeted, extended the HVAC, pool table, kick ass bar, TV, real nice stereo, nice paintings on the walls, some animal heads (fake), couches and chairs, really good library in bookcases, whiteboard for working from home (ceramic).

See my family for about 2-3 hours a day and it goes very well. I'm sure they are at least as happy about this as I am. Everybody wins.

Wasn’t supposed to be a whole convos about FDA approval just got morphed into that.

The point I was trying to make went through “one ear and out the other”....

I tried to make the same point last week and got the same push back. Doesn’t matter now. Seems like people being saved will cause the misinformation to stop.

Just like people dying turned the original narrative of this whole thing around.

But this is good info!
For the most part, I'm trying to stay out of the political, religious and he said/she said type things. I try to keep everything based on facts, logic and reason, something that far too many people seem to lack these days.

Yep I hear ya. It’s just hard to find facts these days. Since Jan the reporting that has been done has been wrong. And highly politicized.

I never really watch the news so I guess seeing all this wrong shit has come as a bit of a shock to me.

can't believe you guys are having a hard time with this... Raider fan of all people.. :hmph:

Question. Did you insulate your GD? If so, what method or product did you use? And how much of a difference did it make?

Relatively gentle climate here. Thing that made the biggest difference was to put small metal straps from the GD to the wall to really seal off the airflow. I put about 4" of styrofoam on the door, then drywall. Walls of the garage aren't insulated, but the ceiling is. All in all, a bit cooler than the house in the winter, but one radiant oil heater in a 750 sq ft garage, plus HVAC connected, has it nice and toasty even when freezing outside. All in all, doing everything (except pool table, tv, just construction) cost probably less than $1,500 and a bunch of beer for a couple buddies that helped.

It's kind of a catch 22, you raise the alarm bells and make everyone stay inside and it doesn't spread, and then people say see what was the big deal?

Nah...I just don't think the "experts" know what the hell is going on.

@kinz is right about the whole damn thing. They have to figure out how to test most every idiot they are going to release back into the wild otherwise -- ugh.

We could have hundreds of thousands of people who have the damn virus and show no symptoms and they don't even know it. Going back to normal without a procedure in place risks something much worse than we have now.

I have seen the light!

I'd like to think we're past that point. Close to 2,000 dead Americans today to the virus AFTER all the precautionary measures we've made. Trump has said we'll likely see 100,000 overall Americans dead. It's just anecdotal but quite a few people I know that were saying a month ago 'aren't we taking this too far?' have been pretty quiet or even applauding the lockdown and distancing measures.
