Carr Replacement 3rd edition

I wonder how far Jordon Love's stock has fallen. Personally, I thought he looked terrible both times I watched him but it seems like the draft world thinks he has some upside. Realistically that's the type of QB we should be looking at (if at all). Waste of time talking about anyone going before the 4th round.

I think we should keep options open if someone we don't expect falls to the mid round picks we should have. #hurtssogood

At this point....

Anyone want to take a stab at where Tua gets drafted?

Surgery happened today. Apparently expected to make a full recovery. The injury label will loom large and rightfully so.

I think this pushed Burrow into full #1 QB lockdown mode. I think Herbert likely jumps into QB2 status?

Eason and Fromm maybe have a chance to jump him?

Can this kid slip to day 2?

He isn't sliding past the Dolphins. Especially if Reggie is still in the house at that point.

I actually think Burrow had already passed him up anyway though.

I agree with Burrow comment. I meant this kinda cemented him as QB1 with no doubts.

I think Herbert might climb him too...

Herbert is slinging it lately. I'm not a fan obviously but I have a sneaky suspicion he is more well liked in NFL circles than draftnik circles.

You can't teach a lot of what he's got. (Size/arm strength/mobility/senior/tons of wins/28-3 TD ratio this year.

Yeah hard to say but if he does slide some team that has an aging QB ala SD, NE, NO, etc. is going to jump all over it I'd imagine.

Miami has 3 first round picks though so if they liked him it's probably an ideal scenario for them.

If that newly janky hip drops him to Rd3, we really oughta pounce. At a minimum, he'd be an asset we could probably flip for a 1+ down the road.
no doubt. I think it might be one of those situations where he goes top of 2nd dut to contract guarantees in the first roud, like that year the two injured LBs went there. Guess it depends how much he’s healed up but dude just seems injury prone.

Who knows if its smoke or agent hype but they are saying 3 months and full recovery on NFLN.

I doubt its that quick but at any rate the "career ender" and "Bo Jackson injury" stuff can probably be put to bed.

007 early prediction is Tua is still going round one. Maybe he slips to early day 2 like a lot of the fringey QBs do.

Let’s not gamble and draft that guy.

1) He’s hurt too much
2) He’s not gonna pan out in the NFL

Questions?

You keep this up bud and the 50-50 draft/tier/fantasy football/win prediction guide partnership is out the fuckin window.

Jamie Newman*, QB, Wake Forest
Height: 6-4. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2020): 2-4.

11/14/19: Newman has created a buzz in the scouting community this fall as a legit pro prospect for the NFL. Newman is a dual-threat quarterback with running and passing talent to challenge defenses. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has quality size with a live arm and athleticism. He is very improved as a passer and is showing a lot of upside to develop for the pro ranks. Some team sources think Newman would be a second-day pick if he enters the 2020 NFL Draft.

In 2019, Newman has completed 65 percent of his passes for 2,297 yards with 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also has five rushing touchdowns with 301 yards on the ground. In 2018, Newman completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,083 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions.
