Music thread

And just when I thought that I had you pegged as a righteous bro

Yeah I think that ship has sailed. My wife has super random taste in music and she’s taken quite a few for the team over the years so I definitely owed her one. Usually it works out that she’ll just go with a friend but no takers on Phil Collins shockingly.

Well, I guess I can let it slide. My wife is a top forty type girl and she’s gone to a lot of shows with me. She’s going to see Dinosaur Jr with me on my birthday.

Jason Bonham opening doesn't suck. IJS

Buddy of mine is taking a group from his job to see Frampton. Seems he has an extra ticket so it looks like I'm going tonight. Should be good.

This is his farewell tour so would be nice to see him. I can’t tell you how much stink finger I got to Frampton Comes Alive back in the day. I saw him not much longer after FCA album.

@gst8 i don’t know how you feel about the Gorilla Biscuits, but they’re playing at Gilman in March. A personal favorite of mine even though straightedge isn’t my thing.

Dood. I was literally going to post this. They’re playing at Slim’s in SF the same weekend so I’ll probably check them out there. I’m actually probably going to see the Casualties this Sunday at the same venue since my buddies band will be playing too.

I saw them when they reunited for an all day outdoor festival when I lived in SoCal back in 2008. They headlined, along with the Vandals, H2O, Rival Schools, Cro-Mags and a shitload of other bands. It was such a good time.

Concerts I went to this summer

ZZ TOP/Cheap Trick

Slayer

Bunch of random country shows with my wife. (ampitheater is in Camden and I don't want her going down there by herself. Also lots of scantilly dressed broads at these things in boots.) In fact I got several lap dances at a Luke Bryant concert while being wheel chair bound with my torn achillies.

Fuck I am old.
