*** 2019 NFL Regular Season “Other Teams” Thread ***

The “late” hit is questionable (was a flag thrown?), within the realm of a normal football occurrence, and up to the officials to police. Rudolph took it to the next level by trying to rip his helmet off which everyone knows is about as taboo as it gets for football players. Jacobs basically just called Amari a homosexual for allowing it to happen to him. No way Rudolph is innocent here.

I didn't say late hit...but he flung him to the ground. That move has been outlawed in the NFL and I am shocked a flag wasn't thrown for that. Garrett gave a few extra pushes while engaged and Rudolph fought to get him off. Garrett went nuts after that.

Rudolph is completely innocent here...he fought to get Garrett off of him and that did NOT warrant what Garrett did after that.

Are we watching the same video? Garrett bear hugs him then then slings him to the ground. Rather than immediately rolling off of him he stays to push him a little. Rudolph starts pushing him off and then Garrett grabs his facemask and pulls him off the ground...ripping it off in the process. Rather than accept being punked Rudolph shows some cojones in getting in Garretts face.
Rudolph tried to pull Garrett's helmet off first. This is facts. Rudolph should be facing suspension as well at least a game. Rudolph is a little bitch. Guarantee that little shit doesn't try the same bullshit on the streets.

What??? He's the bitch for fighting off Garrett? Haven't we chastised guys like Crabtree and Cooper for NOT fighting back? So now your a bitch if you stick up for yourself AND your a bitch if you don't? Fuck that nonsense.

Pouncy did what I would expect a O-lineman to do. To bad Garret still had his helmet on. He will say he's sorry and take his punishment and Rudolph should pay his fines.

Steeler QBs are bitches!
Case closed.

I have no bias...I don't like either team. Watch the video dude...he hits him late...falls on him and then proceeds to push them before grabbing his facemask. I respect Rudolph for at least sticking up for himself.

Apparently, Mason Rudolph did more than just try to pull off Myles Garrett's helmet. There are published reports that he also tried to kick Garrett in the family jewels. If that's true, he deserves to be suspended as well as Garrett. Maybe not for quite as long, but suspension is definitely warranted. He won't be, of course, because...well...you know...he's a quarterback.

Wrong. Rudolph instigated the entire event.

"Rudolph is completely innocent here...he fought to get Garrett off of him and that did NOT warrant what Garrett did after that."

No man who tries to kick another man in the balls is "completely innocent." LINK

Garrett deserves his suspension, but Rudolph deserves some time off, too.

@gst8’s right. Let Rudolph continue to play.

For the season, the man some have dubbed Mason Peterman has now thrown 12 touchdown passes and eight interceptions, along with 1,551 yards. With Devlin Hodges also on the roster, some are wondering whether he should supplant Rudolph, immediately.
