Nope. Agreed. Experience in the NFL at tight end is huge. Add in similar physical tools... its a no contest.

Waller needed his time to develop and to NOT be that high pick. Low pick, personal perseverance... yea we got a good one.

Good question.

I am really surprised Fant didn’t do more though, we historically can’t cover TE’s.

The only two bad throws I thought he made were that bomb and the slant to Grant on 3rd and short that he forced inside. That's a pretty fucking good game.

While not a good throw, it was a good decision, off a good scramble, and not a bad throw. The bomb and the slant were bad decisions and poor throws.
