Finally a list we have a guy who should be pretty high consensus wise.

I am probably gonna stop around 20 because there really aren’t that many dominant WR1’s.

1. DeAndre Hopkins - I have him here because for quite a while he was doing his thing with CRAP at QB. And he’s stayed healthy and steady.

2. Antonio Brown - I have him at #2 simply due to the often unavailability of the next two guys. Brown is a stud tho. If he was a Steeler I’d still have him in the same spot #nohomer

3. Julio Jones - Often injured and came up lame in the clutch in the playoffs. But he’s the most physically dominant WR in the league with Calvin Johnson hanging it up.

4. A.J. Green - Another specimen who may be the best big deep threat in the league. Has gotten it done against some really good defenses over the years with a QB who can’t quite take full advantage of his ability to win deep.

5. Michael Thomas - May be a tad high but he had a HUGE season in 2018. Some of the best hands in the game.

6. OBJ - Tad injury prone and seemingly a diva. Already causing controversy in Cleveland. He’s a threat to take it to the house on any play. Great hands and a fantastic route runner.

7. Mike Evans - More consistent QB play and he could rise. Catches the ball in traffic as well as anyone in the league.

8. Tyreke Hill - Another guy I may have too high. But he affects the field the same way Steph Curry effects the court in basketball. Premier deep threat with the perfect QB for his abilities. Improved route running and hands. He’s terrifying to cover. Off the field trouble could end his career.

9. Ju Ju Smith-Shuster - Great all around game and has an innate open field RAC ability. Young, tough player. One of my favorites to watch.

10. DeVonte Adams - Extremely productive WR who plays against real good CB’s 6 times a year. Some say he’s over rated, but he sees some of the best secondaries in football week in and week out and steadily produces.

11. Adam Thelin - UDFA who has become a fantastic possession WR across from the next WR on my list. I’ll give him the slight nod for now.

12. Stephon Diggs - Huge playoff run and a huge contract put high expectations and he didn’t disappoint. As with AT he benefits from having essentially another WR1 across from him and an accurate, aggressive QB.

13. Julian Edelman - Doesn’t quite put up the stats as some others but gets open and makes big plays in the clutch possibly better than any WR in the NFL. Becoming a tad injury prone.

14. Jarvis Landry - Terrific possession WR who puts up a steady performance week to week. Will benefit from having an aggressive young QB to work with.

15. TY Hilton - Possibly a Tad too low. Will benefit from working with a healthy Andrew Luck, has performed without much help next to him.

16. Kenny Golloday - Somewhat of an unknown but a huge target who plays in a tough division. Big young kid who has some speed and some upside. More consistency from Stafford and growth in his game and he could rise.

17. Alshon Jeffrey - If not for injuries I’d have him higher. Big body WR with a Chris Carter type game. Some injury luck for himself and Wentz and he could put up some great numbers on a high octane team.

18. Amari Cooper - Maddeningly inconsistent WR capable of a 200 yard or a 20 yard game from week to week. Was more consistent in Dallas and put up overall good numbers after the trade. Benefits from a division without top level CB talent. Could put up monster stats and rise in a contract year if he’s fed the ball.

19. Keenan Allen - Another guy I have low due to injury history. When he’s healthy he’s a top 10 talent, but that’s often not the case. Smooth route runner with great hands and a fantastic QB to work with.

20. Robert Woods - Solid all around WR, similar to DeVonte Adams. As Gurley struggled and Kupp was injured, more attention was paid to him and of effected his production. Real solid player in a great scheme.

Probably gonna catch some flak over a few of my rankings, and there could be a lot of movement due to injuries to themselves or their QB. Having a good QB definitely helps WR’s ability to produce (and vice versa).

You were worried about Hill being to high, I think he's too low. Dude just gets wide open and breaks open the game. I think actually a lot of Mahomes success is because of Hill. I've got him above AJ Green at this point in their careers.
I think after Julio, Antonio, Hill, OBJ, and Hopkins you start a 2nd tier.
Green, Thomas, Evans, JuJu Adams, and Ty definitely fit into that second Tier. I'm not totally sure about Thelin and Diggs yet seems like they benefit from having each other on each side so they don't get doubled, all those other guys deal with the double team all the time.
Probably group the rest in the 3rd tier.

Yeah I agree 100% there are 5-6 who are a tad above everyone else, guys you have to gameplan for. That’s why I just stopped at 20.

The thing with Hill is if he plays a team that has the ability to stay over the top he doesn’t offer you the ability to move the chains consistently, most of those guys I had above his can do both. He is probably the most feared WR tho. Dude is just so fucking fast. You make a mistake and he’s gonna get 5 yards of separation instantly. And Mahommes can get it there from just about any angle. I HATE that he is so good( PM). Fun as hell to watch, sucks he’s gonna be in KC buttfucking us for the next 10-15 years.

1. Amari Cooper
2. IDGAF

I’m actually interested in where you would put him!! I had him a little lower than I thought. He’s just soo inconsistent tho. I really think this is the year he breaks out though. That division simply has garbage at CB. Dak feeds him. He’s got a run game the opponent has to worry about. And I think their other WR, the Colorado kid is gonna improve and be pretty good on the other side.

Haven't we been saying that almost as long as we have for Carr?

Haha I'll do one up soon enough. I loves me the receivers!

Its an odd one to do. Julio and AB should have been 1 and 2 for close to 10 years. Now you are probably right to slot Hopkins ahead of them. Maybe even Michael Thomas...

I would have Davante Adams and Amari Cooper higher. Juju needs to show me he can be the #1 guy and not have the best player in the NFL across from him helping out before I put him in the elite category.

I have a feeling Ju Ju is going to be in for a rude awakening this year without Brown. He can be taken out of games.

Help us Obi Wan Goodell you're our only hope!

I like their WR they drafted last year, he could develop into a pretty good #2. But you’re right, losing Brown could definitely have an effect. Some good DB’s in that division, now he will face the #1 every week.

Yeah dude I wanted to put Thomas higher, but I have to see him do it again. Those other guys have proven it more. He’s still about as good as anyone when he’s on his game.

You could make a case for Adams. And I had him pretty high. He might face the best competition outside of maybe Hopkins who sees Ramsey twice a year and the Colts and Titans have had pretty good secondaries.

Cooper could be higher, I just don’t trust him week in and week out. It’s feast or famine with him. He was better in Dallas no question. Like to see him play a full season and be more consistent. He’s about as talented as anyone outside of Julio and AJ Green.

Go ahead and move AB down 30 spots because Raiders.:chuckle:

I kind of lost interest after Golden Tate, if Baldwin hadn't been injured so much and now retired he would be on my list too.

Really feel as though I am missing someone I really like that should he top 10ish. Fuck.. forgot Marvin Jones, Sanders, and Woods... oh well they all fall in somewhere around 15-25

Same here with Tyreek.

And spot on with the Steph Curry comp @Armyr8rfan. Hill is a game plan wrecker.

You mix them in a blender you end up with Amari.

he may not be the "best receiver" however that may be defined, but Tyreek Hill is by far the best weapon/most dangerous WR in the game.. the top guy playing the position IMO.
