Let's talk FF

I would probably go with Anderson even though Benjamin will have a favorable schedule. I just trust McCown to keep scoring pasding td's more than I trust Taylor to. Taylor seems to have more options. McCoy, Clay (soon will be back) Holmes, Zay Jones, plus his own feet. That's a lot of options for a team that is very up and down scoring wise.

I'd take Anderson thinking the Jets will be down more often than not, and he seems to be becoming a bigger part of the offense.

Yah I pulled the trigger on the deal and of course I benched him last night. It's ok though, I had to start Forte because Leveon is on a bye week and he killed it last night.

Agree, Anderson has a lot more upside IMO

When all else fails go with the guy who should be playing from behind with less competition.

Yep ... my FF team is taking a serious hit now. Both Winston, and Watson are out as QB's for my mostly dominating WR core. I've lived off of Evans, Hopkins, and Crabtree, along with Kelce being able to just consistently week after week put up points. Maybe not all 3 at once, but asva group they had been steady. Now, all I'm left with is Kelce, and the hope that Carr will get his "Mojo" back... I feel a huge letdown coming my way after having the highest score of the week 4 of the 1st 8 games this year.

That sucks losing Watson. He was lighting shit up. I've been really fortunate with injuries (knock wood). I've keept my lineup fairly consistent and not waiving or trading guys every week like some guys do. I'm kicking myself in the ass for waiving AP after he got caught in a numbers game in NO and then winds up killing it in Zona.

Alex Smith has been doing a nice job week in and week out. Leveon Bell has been nails after week 2 but the rest of my RB's have been fairly pedestrian although Forte knocked it out for me Thursday with Bell and James White out on bye weeks.. Gronk and Kelce always get me double digits as I typically flex Kelce. My receivers are Doug Baldwin, Sanu, and Robby Anderson who I just picked up for Benjamin. They don't typically go crazy but will usually get me double digits every week.

I haven't lost since week 1 and barring an epic collapse, should be the #1 seed going into the playoffs.

I think I'm on the road to that epic collapse

Yah unfortunately it happens. I sucked ass for most of last season due to injuires and guys just underperforming.
Same here, last year was worst ever for me.

Sweet... Evans 1 game suspension after his cheap shot. He deserved it.

Ok, so I'm trying to cock block this guy I'm playing in my work league by picking up a QB since he needs one. Any under the radar guys I should be worried about? It's slim pickings for him in the FA pool... like Dalton and Bortles being the best options. I'm thinking Bortles since he's most likely to have a random good game. Thoughts?

I picked up Fitz because Alex Smith is on a bye and the Jets have a suspect secondary but there is no one out there that really should worry you. Assuming Bortles will have Fournette back, don't count on him to have a big week. Dalton wasn't available in my league.

I'm assuming McCown is gone already... a sneaky guy this week may be Osweiler at home vs NE. Will the Broncos win? He'll no, but NE gives up points to QB's..

I'd also watch out for Fitz. Revenge games are always interesting.

Picked up Fitz and Bortles to be safe. No way he digs deep enough for Osweiler.

Now I'm going back and forth between starting Goff or Stafford. Seems wrong to ignore the Browns matchup but Goff has been hot lately.

Ride the hot guy.

Brown's don't give up rushing yards to RB's so Detroit will have to pass. Houston won't put up a ton of points so Rams can just run it all they want once they get a lead. I'd probably start Stafford.

So I pulled the trigger in anticipation of a championship run. I traded Alex Smith, Travis Kelce, and Robbie Anderson for Tom Brady, Chris Hogan, Nelson Agholar, and Charles Lee. Also picked up Burkhead from the waiver wire. I already have Gronk and James Lee so will be going with a heavy Pats contingent. Even with Brady spreading out the ball to different players, they just put up a ridiculous amount of points.

My playoff lineup will look something like this.

Brady QB
Leveon Bell RB 1
Forte/James White/DWarka RB2. Have to see how Forte's knee injury plays out.
WR1 Doug Baldwin
WR2 Chris Hogan
WR3 Mohammed Sanu
TE Gronk
Flex one of the aforementioned RB's or Burkhead
D Detroit Lions
K Lutz
