The problem is simply Carr is throwing balls to the 3rd WR instead of that many throws going to where it should.. the TE.. problem is we have ass at TE which is why Seth is getting balls that a TE should-

Which is why Gerald Everett is my 3rd rd pick.. Dude is smooth, lean and goes up and dominates on contested catches..He the guy that should be getting all those passes thats been thrown to Seth

I'd be okay with signing DE Mario Addison from the Pathers as a situational edge rusher

I go:

1: Jarrad Davis- MLB - Florida
2: Steven Taylor- OLB - Houston
3. Gerld Everett - TE - South Alabama
4. Marlon Mack- RB - South Florida

That should plug a buncha needs.... Interior rush DT is just not a strong market in FA nor the draft where the Raiders sit...

Heres some tape on Gerald Erverett

I have regularly said that a functional TE is interchangeable with a 3rd WR in our offense. Either one would help take this offense to the next level. It just depends on the type of personnel the Raiders want to run (11 or 12).

Don't speak again.
Suck my cock. But seriously, I'll admit I end up liking guys and would be willing to reach for them. There's no way of knowing how Butt will come back from him knee injury, but the guy is a stud and adding him would give us a first down and red zone machine. With the rest of the cogs on this offense, it'd be deadly. Still think it's bad ass how he barely limped to the locker room after the injury.

23. Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt

Cunningham’s name continues to become more and more familiar as his strong play continues for Vanderbilt. He’s very strong against the run, able to shed blocks and make plays as well as any linebacker in the nation. Cunningham’s 56 solo run stops lead in the Power-5. One thing he’ll need to work on is his tackling, as he’s missed 34 total over the past two seasons. But if he can improve on that, he could be one of the best linebackers in this draft class.

Oy.

I'm a UM fan, but with the other TE's in this class I wouldn't drop a 2nd on him. A 4th? Yeah sure. OJ Howard, the Clemson dude who torched a bunch of NFL players are gonna be there in round 2 and will probably be about as good as Butt. This is the best TE class I think I've ever seen TBH as far as how highly rated and deep they will be come draft time. Sucks for him because he's gonna slide because of the knee and the depth there.

Fucken DB's... Give me another guy that can heat up the QB...

I'm guessing they are gonna bank on Aldon coming back and a healthy MEJ. Need a legit DT BADLY tho. When a decent back up (McGee) looks like a Pro Bowler in comparison to Williams/Ellis, that's not good.....Ward did jack shit everywhere he lined up....that pick not looking so good.

Perfect!

Getting Aldon back will allow us to move Mack inside which should offer some help. Not sure where we are going to find that interior disrupter. I'm really down on the Ward pick. I think the guy is going to flame out and don't get me started on Calhoun.

Got to give them time year one. Should have a descent idea by next year what they will really be. Calhoun kind of shocked me that he didn't perform as well. Ward kinda shocked me he was playing as much as he did.

Inside as in DT or LB?

Mack's bulked up to full DE size at this point. I'd love to see him drop a few and get to move around a little but I don't see it happening with this regime.

More as interior pass rusher shooting the gaps like the Pack do with Clay. He's got the strength to take on interior OL but I agree, we don't fully utilize his abilities as well as we could.

Reminds a guy a lot of Tay Tay Murray.

Holy crap...Bell just blew up again!

yeah we could have had him instead of Crumpets. That's some Al Davis esque shit from the fat man! I forget who had the Cook jihad but I'm on it too. A dynamic back like that could take our O into the stratosphere...

Jake Butts will be a solid TE, not a guy you take in the first couple of rounds IMO. If Fournette or Cook are there when we pick I'd have to think long and hard about pulling the trigger. I'm not sure there will be as dynamic or impactful players at other positions, just because they are needs doesn't mean we should pass on better talent...

How bout Charles Harris from Missouri?

He could fill that LEO role since we're obviously not changing schemes. He also has the added bonus of projecting well to OLB in a 3-4 once we get rid of Norton and Del Rio.
