SF Giants -- Reloading!

Reminds me of Brian Wilson. Same shit. Wilson did have a way of getting out of his own jams but yeah, the drama!

What's the deal with Romo...? Not sturdy enough or just got figured out?

boo..I'm an A's fan..ya know, the fucking team that just likes to continuously trade all of their goddamn players with no plan at all..yea..that team :raiderbag::killme:

Its not too late to come over to the dark side my brother

No idea what the fuck Billy beane is doing. Overrated fuck

Beane is operating under budget constraints that most other GM's don't have to deal with. (A's team salary is 27th out of 30 teams.) You think he likes trading his good players away? If he had a budget like the Red Sox, Yankees, or Cubs, we'd be a perennial contender. I get frustrated by having to get rid of players just as they are getting good, too, but it's not going to change until the ownership does.

Ugh...see "the stadium" thread. But do you think a shiny new stadium would be packed? A'small fans don't go to the games now

A new stadium wouldn't hurt. An owner with deeper pockets would be even better. We have a good farm system and keep trading for under-rated players, but when it's time for them to get paid, we have to let them go. Fucking Wolff.

And fucking MLB, for not following the NBA and NFL in having more salary parity. The team with the highest payroll (Dodgers, $258M) is almost 4 times that of the lowest (Tampa, $72M).

I'm pretty much a bandwagon Giants fan at this point. I loved the characters of the old A's but that era isn't coming back.

I've invested enough support into teams and owners with no desire to win over the years. Plus, Wolfe is a huge contributing factor to our inability to get a stadium deal done in Oakland. As far as Billy Beane goes, at this point I think he likes being in a spot where he gets all the credit for anything good but none of the blame with things don't go right.

Giants in midst of death spiral. Should have a double digit lead over the Dudgers but the BP has blown like 19 saves and Bochy in denial that there is anything wrong with the pen. Looks like Dudgers shutting Kershaw down again. Is that bad? :chuckle:

How do you blow a 7-1 run lead? Devastating loss
Hurts worse then the two hitter MadBum threw a few days ago and we lost 1-0.

The lack of power on this team is biting them in the ass.

Well just when you think the pen is coming around, they shit the bed again. Giants finally scored some runs yesterday and still wind up losing.
