Clive Walford

People are so easily fooled about the dangers of ATV. I'm guessing most football players didn't ride as kids. They are big, macho and often fearless drivers. Perfect recipe for a crash.

yeah it looks fun and then... whoops. Moto and ATV don't mess around unless you know what you are doing.

Apparently he got into an ATV accident requiring knee surgery. Glad we didn't trade Rivera. Hope it's not Kellen Winslow Jr. Bad.

Don't tell me this shit.

While we are speaking of TE'sโ€ฆ Lee Smith better get his shit in gear this year. I was expecting a 3rd OT out there? If I heard his name called for a false start penalty one more time Id cut his ass. You have one job.

Got tossed around a little too much for a $3 mill per year blocking specialist, too.

Settle down.

So sounds like the honeymoon may be over for Gronk in Boston. Pats went 8-0 after he went down. When healthy, there's no one better. Waldorf is a huge disappoint.

Is he worth blowing a first rounder for in a draft deep in TE's?

Gronk is great but he's injury prone and I don't think he's as happy go lucky outside of New England. He loves it there.

Not worth a 1st or even a 2nd. His value lies in New England.

Same with any players NE no longer wants or even can't keep for that matter. Aside from Vinatieri I can't think of a single NE cast off worth a damn once they leave. Once they leave NE they are used up and worthless.

Fuck him... That whole Bahston shit is a different system...

We gotta lock down Carr and Mack.. besides

Did I eva tell ya' fellas about....

Fuck that broke down Abercrombie & Fitch muthafucker...

I might give them our 2nd rounder for him, but that would honestly be more about keeping the pick away from Reggie than anything Gronkowski brings to the table.

As you said, this appears to be a pretty likable crop of TEs. If we're interested in adding a TE, and it stands to reason we should be at some point in the process, that same 2nd round pick could possibly net us an Evan Engram or Bucky Hodges.

One thing about Walford that warrants mentioning whenever we talk about getting impatient with his development as a receiver: He's made really nice strides as a blocker. In another year, he could be good enough to make Lee Smith expendable, freeing up a place on the depth chart for a developmental type TE3, as well as giving us better injury insurance at the position...assuming, of course, Walford can begin to unlock his potential as a receiver.

If he does, and he's our #2 TE, he's likely being covered by a defense's second best coverage 'backer/safety. Fucker might begin to make a few plays vs those lesser opponents.

But, if not, he's at least coming along as a blocker. Can't say the bastard isn't contributing.

I heard this guy had the baby hands like Trump. Might be an issue. Might not be. Bound to affect where he's drafted, though, if what I read turns out to be true.

Wasn't Walford supposed to chip on the play Carr died? I had started to do other things by that point in the game since, ya know, we should have been running out the clock and not throwing the fucking ball there.

There's a few small school TEs getting pub. They're going to have to have decent combines to be more than 3rd rounders.

You and Davis thinking alike.

Oh my. Not good.

I think you're splitting hairs here. Penn allowed his only sack of the game and Carr held onto the ball too long. As far as running the ball, I agree. Should have also ran the ball on the 3rd and 1 in the 4th Q in KC. Probably why Musgrave is no longer here. JDR wants a power running, clock controlling game.
