A mil here or there is no big deal. Until you have 19 shitty overpaid players and end up having to do it again next year.

This is not a new or ground breaking argument. It literally happens at every Raider forum every year. We justify why we signed Solomon Thomas or Jalen Richard or Kenyan Drake or Carl Nassib or Corey Littleton to the deals we did.

It usually doesnt end well. Hopefully Kenyan Drake is the outlier and blows up for us though (Which likely means Jacobs got hurt?)

Well, based on past history I think it's a pretty safe assumption that Jacobs will get dinged up. But even if he doesn't I expect Drake to get plenty of touches.

If Drake plays at a Nassib or Thomas level, then you'll be right for blasting the signing.

I don't think the 5.5 is tremendously out of whack at all, as long as Drake performs at the level he did last year or close to it.

I'd rather have Drake at 5.5M than the Steeler or Mule rejects that couldn't stay on the field for more than 6 games a year at 3M.

I'd rather not pay Jalen Richard 3.5 and Kenyan Drake 5.5

But thats just me. I'm not a GM.

All we can do is watch the Raiders playoff push and hope for the best.

I havent even had a beer in almost 9 weeks haha. I got too fat when the last lockdown happened up here.

You can bet your ass if I was drinking I'd be treating you a lot worse for these terrible fantasy football stat takes though.

you never answered the question on that I noticed. I don’t know about you but when I play FF I try to pick the most productive players, it’s kind of a winning strategy. You have a lot of butthurt over me saying his contract is in line with his production and you haven’t offered up shit to dispute it.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe they're fucking with Jalen hoping he takes a cut now instead of just being released later when it's gonna be hard for him to catch on anywhere.

You think because Richard is on the books at 3.5 on June 1st that means he'll be on the roster come September ?

Lots of time left to make moves.

He had 8 goal line TD's inside the 2 with the Cardinals. Thats awesome for fantasy. Its irrelevant to real life Raider football. (Hopefully what you are trying to talk about here?)

Quit the bullshit fantasy stat fiasco. He's not our goal line back. If he is, we overpaid. If he isnt? We still overpaid.

Thought he also rushed for over 900, don't know what his rcvng yardage was last year, but if I'm not mistaken it was pretty good in other years.

He's not gonna be just a goal line back.
