Big rumor on Black Panther 2 is that Killmonger somehow comes back from the dead to reclaim the crown.

No one stays dead for long, eh? Fucking comic books. :pound:

Can't see her being Ironheart or Black Panther. Ironheart is supposed to be a little tech genius like Stark, so it would be more likely to be one of Peter Parker's classmates (rumor is that their school was secretly a SHIELD/SWORD recruitment/training pool).

I'm hyped for Shang Chi as well. I grew up on Kung Fu Theatre, so having a martial arts hero (Iron Fist failed) is exciting to me.

The Ironheart theory was from her being a child in Captain Marvel so they could have had her grow up to be anyone at that point. That said if her name was β€œMonica Rambeau” I guess that should have clued people in lol.

Same on the Kung Fu stuff. I was actually enjoying Warrior before they cancelled it.

Check it again (or your TV settings). Monica's eyes glowed bluish white and then were blue when the powers were not in use. I do think her powers allowed her to see the magical spectrum tho.

Blue prior to the mid-credits scene. Looked pretty damn purplish at the end, though. Maybe not, but it didn't look like the same color as before.

Gotcha. I'll have to rewatch the end again.

Yeah, I spotted it in one of the recap/Easter Egg videos. Good catch. I thought they were the normal color when I watched it last night. I'm thinking it was flunky Peter effecting her, now that I saw it again.

Stole this off the Twitter. Had to.

Stole this, too.

Fuck. It's a crime spree. :pound:

This one's going to prove prophetic sooner rather than later, I expect.

This ain't y'all's new ringtone? Can't relate.

I do believe that someone told you exactly which films to watch to have the full understanding of what's going on. Just because you failed to listen to solid advice is no excuse. LOL

ain't nobody got time for all that lol, ok I just didn't want to make time.

Was trying to explain to my kids how great The Wire was. Put on episode one, I don’t think they got it but I think I’ll watch it all over again, good shit.

I like it. I honestly can't point to anything specific that I don't like about it, which is weird for me. But it's never been a show that I've just loved watching. The cast, the characters, the uniqueness of seeing the game from all the different perspectives...it's all really well done. I'm just not enamored with it the way others have been, and I'll be damned if I can find a reason why.

The Wire was excellent. Michael K Williams is one of my very favorite character actors ever.

Of the HBO original series though I still rank Boardwalk Empire as the best.

Did you watch Hap & Leonard? Really pissed me off that they only did 3 seasons of it.

No... but it sounds like I should.

Yep! Not as good as the books (that would be hard, because Joe R. Lansdale is a beast of a writer), but still very good. They captured the overall feel and used lots of his dialogue. Casting was spot on, too.

I'm starting Boardwalk next week actually.

The wife and I powered through Silicon Valley for shits and gigs. I enjoyed it.

I can usually watch The Wire through and through at least once a year. One of the all time greats. Although season 5 is trash.
