Whose our resident cap expert? @Madturk perhaps? I want to know if Aron Rodgers to us next season is a possibility or is contract to big of an albatross?

Green Bay would be on the hook for a $31m cap hit if they traded him after the season. Depends on how badly he pushed I guess but that's a potential back breaker for them. I think there's a way for them to split it over 2 years though.

Its not just reddit. It is amazing how many places you go and saying anything negative aboit Derek isnt tolerated.

Him hot potatoing the ball when he was getting hit on 4th down is such a microcosm of his issues. He gets spooked easily and just cannot make plays on his own. He follows schemes and scripts pretty well and when EVERYTHING is lined up perfectly for him he can have some success. Throw a hand in his face? Hit him in the mouth once or twice? Force him to roll out and make a play on the run? There's a very strong chance he's going to be done for. I've just never seen a QB crumble like he does when he's faced with any kind of adversity.

I'll post on the NFL sub but the Raiders sub is so ridiculously pro-Carr it's nauseating... I've never seen a top 16-20 NFL QB be so beloved as that place loves Carr.

It's funny because I thought he played good against the Panthers and Saints, not so good against the Pats and Bills. Our defense has had 4 shit games so I definitely can't blame him solely for the losses but he sure doesn't deserve praise from those two performances even if the game stats look good IMO.

This is one of the worst things that Carr does. I don't know if it's because he doesn't have control over where the ball is going, or if it's because he starts his throwing motion and then decides to just sail it out of bounds when his guy doesn't have as much separation as he wants.

Whatever it is, he wastes far too many balls in the red zone by sending them outside the white lines and 12 ft overhead.
