I use certain apps on my phone frequently. Some of them are invaluable and I wanted to share what I currently use in case anybody has use of them.

1. Waze - If you drive you need to have Waze on your phone. It is a GPS with voice directions (like google or apple maps) but it will tell you where cops are, objects on the road, broken down vehicles, construction, etc. It is user driven data so everybody who uses it reports where things are and then it broadcasts that to you if it is on your route.

2. eMeals - This is a service I pay for that lets me make a weekly meal plan. It has a ton of recipes including different diets (24 in all.) I think it averages to $5 a month. After building whatever I plan on eating for the week I can send my shopping list that it creates for me to a local store (all in the app) and have the store fill my order and do a pickup. Really convenient and has saved me money by cutting down on my food waste. If you are interested in this it is better to call them to set up your account. They gave me 50% off of the price because I called in to ask a question after I had already paid for it.

Those are the main 2 that I use outside of normal crap like Spotify, mail, messaging, etc.

You're the one that gets Sunday Ticket free, right? If so, can you post a breakdown of how you do that again?

Not sure if they'll be showing the Raiders as local anymore so I have to prepare for the alternatives. I actually don't mind paying for just ST but I'm not getting DTV just to do it.

I don't get it free. I pay for it but I don't pay for DirecTV.

1. Find a VPN. - There are many different VPN's and I haven't shopped around lately. I use Private Internet Acess and am happy with it but there are better available for cheaper now I just haven't done the research to do it. I think I pay $40 per year for this service.

2. Once you have your VPN installed set it to a foreign country. I think I used Germany last year. Go to NFL Gamepass and you should have the international version which allows you to stream the games live. I found that different countries have different rates. I was around $170 last year for the complete season. They now let you make 4 payments.

That's about it. There really isn't much to it. It's basically telling everybody on the internet that you now are in Germany and can buy Gamepass international because it is available in Germany. I would then use the PC with my VPN installed on it to login to Gamepass on Sunday and then cast the game to my TV using Chromecast.

I use PIA as well for my VPN. They are one of the few VPN's that don't keep logs. Anyone know if Reddit will have the NFL streams again.

That's why I went with PIA originally and continue to stick with them. I think there are more options now but I haven't sat down and done the research.
There will always be streams but I have no idea if Reddit will have them like before. The Gamepass International if it fits in your budget is so much better. HD every time and never really an issue with hanging or not having a good stream and missing 1/2 the game trying to find one.

Well somebody better find them.
I always had luck with buffstreams or buffstreams or whatever. If you can find 1 site that works it should consistently have them.

Are they really going to make the fucking Chargers our local team? Why isn’t this something is getting reported on if so? If true and if I was Direct TV it would be an all out blitz to reach Raider fan

I’ll probably just watch Redzone if I don’t get Raider games, but the VPN would not be that hard for me to set up

Haven’t heard anything about the Chargers... I’m guessing they’re just going to market SF to the entire Northern California and just give us the national AFC game of the week.

this worked so great for me until my company got a new VPN and it causes issues with PIA. I've been streaming reddit the last couple years

I guess I should stop being a cheap fuck and get an old laptop of my own. I just use my company laptop.

It screws with PIA even if you are not connected to the VPN?

they basically overwrite each other. So if I install PIA I can't use my company VPN without re-installing it. Then I need to reinstall PIA. Just too big a pain. Especially since I sometimes need to login and work while watching the game.

That sucks. Have you tried a different program? There are free ones you could just test things out and see if it is a PIA specific issue.

So a friend of mine suggested a new app called WTForecast. It's basically weather with swearing. You can pick your swearing level. I never knew I needed this in my life but apparently, I do.

Used that one for a a while. "Hotter than the Devil's balls" was one of my favorites.

New app this weekend called Seek. Take a picture of anything in nature and this app will tell you what it is. Plants, birds, insects, animals, etc. Cool stuff
