Random Thoughts

Seems like there are a bunch of steps we are skipping in between "dude resisted arrest" and "the cops killed him"

How about we just don't fuckin kill all these people all the time.

Anyone who isnt a white male should be terrified for their lives anytime they even see a police officer.
He wasn't even fucking resisting so that's just a bullshit statement anyways.

Saying it in response to a meme about people surrounding a police station didn't make a lotta sense. At least not to me.
I know I'm a foreigner and all, so feel free to disregard. But I believe the provincial agent for Boston had his office burned, home looted and effigy beheaded. I think this might predate the tea party, but same issue at play.

Difference will be the color of the guys with guns disobeying.
A couple weeks back in NYC the mayor ordered the police to start enforcing the social distancing "laws", so they arrested 40 people. 35 black, 4 hispanic, one white. He tried to declare a success and people complained he was targeted black people.

what was done was criminal......and murder...but got damn..if you commit a crime..even something petty like trying to pass on a counterfeit $20 and get busted..just admit yer shit got caught and stop resisting...youll live

Seems like everyone of these deaths the dead committed a crime and resisted arrest

He was already in cuffs...surrounded by 4 officers. He was done resisting.

No single person of color in America should feel safe right now. I hate saying that but I believe it’s true. The difference in response by the President between the Charlottesville riot and the one in Minneapolis only hammers that point home. My blood is absolutely boiling over this.

I love how everyone is referencing this incident in history. England taxing the shit out of the Colonists to support wars fought on the Colonist's behalf. The only destruction was the 300 plus barrels of tea dumped into the harbor. No fires, no deaths, no resistance from the British.
So this is dissimilar how exactly?

Or, as it occurred in this case, comply and get choked to death.

Yup.

At some point this is just the fuckin right answer.
When the burnt out buildings are the local ones relied upon by the community doing the burning? Now they have to go where for goods? And for jobs?

A) He was suspected of committing a crime. He matched the description of the suspect, except for the parts where the store owner said the suspect was drunk and belligerent and in a van (blue, I think).
B) He never once resisted. There's footage that shows him being taken out of the vehicle (white SUV), cuffed, sat down against a wall, picked back up and then walked over to where the kneeling happened. His only resistance was grimacing and apparently saying that the cuffs hurt.
C) On the ground, he didn't resist. He stated that he couldn't breathe and to please stop.

He’s the President. I shouldn’t have to filter through his words. He clearly communicated a threat to order the military to open fire. That’s North Korea. That’s China. That’s not the United States.

And now I’m catching myself veering off the rails and venturing into territory that I know is unproductive and pisses Bones off anyway so I’ll stop.
Trump’s an idiot, a loud mouth, has little or no Twitter self control, etc. True statements do not offend. Biden’s senile and creepy. Two old white guys. What a choice. Particularly now.

The Colonists were careful not to damage anything other than the tea. It was important to thier cause that only the tea was destroyed so that they wouldn't be labeled as looters and they would be taken seriously regarding thier protest. The unfortunate issue now is that thier are dumbasses taking advantage of the incident by vandalizing shit. I hear ANTIFA is even smashing windows and shit just to do it.
