So it's pure yards and not overall value, got it. His value is based on yards... so one piece to the puzzle. I'm not here trying to 'win' anything, just having a discussion. Like I've said, I don't value analytics as much as you seem to so I don't spend my time breaking down the entire formula. I've seen you multiple times post side by side the FO #6 and PFF ranking of #11. I assumed FO ranked similarly to PFF and even his own summary made it seem that way but as you've shown if you dive more it's pure yards as value... so, again, it's a very small piece to the overall evaluation puzzle and that's literally all I've said all along.

I'm here to talk about the football team we all love. There's differing opinions on the QB of this team. You're flat out wrong if you thing there's an 'agenda' here... I don't give a shit about anything other than putting together the most competitive team. I don't value the data you keep posting as much as you do and especially don't now that you really broke it down. We all have our opinions on how to become competitive again and I'm going to keep giving my opinion on how to get there.
Fair enough. Glad we worked it out.

I personally do think it’s meaningful that Carr efficiently ran Gruden’s offense at a high level, relatively, when the entire season (not just the last six games) is considered. It does not mean I would not prefer a playmaker, but I get why Gruden is not moving so fast to replace Carr with any Tom, Dick or Harry.

Is “Running Gruden’s offense” is a low key excuse for not being aggressive?

It was all downhill from there. :rotf:

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Derek Carr’s 92.6 overall grade against the Broncos in week 1 was the highest graded game of any #Raiders player in 2019. (Min. of 20 snaps) He did have a teammate with a 92.5 grade in a game, good for second best on the season. Who is it?

Link went dead so now I don't know who the 2nd player is!

I just want to throw something out there for the Weapons argument.

By DYAR, the Raiders had the #18 (T.Williams) and #38 (H.Renfrow) rated WRs, the #1 (D.Waller) and #14 (F.Moreau) rated TEs, and the #12 rated RB (Jacobs).

Yes, and with a healthy T. Brown, I happily was saying, “AB who . . . fuck you!” Then the wheels came off: Unlike at OG and C, where Devey, Good and James held their own, Grant and Nelson were lame or terrible, Mayock had to make two in-season trades, injuries mounted to the highly rated players mentioned, and these back-up and subpar players got too many snaps:
  1. Jones: 466
  2. Wash: 273
  3. Sharpe: 270
  4. Parker: 195
  5. Davis: 187
  6. Doss: 186
  7. Carrier: 179
  8. Ateman: 141
  9. Tomlinson: 44
  10. Gafford: 43
Subpar back-up RT: 465
Subpar #2 WR: 457
Subpar #3 WR: 371
Subpar #2 RB: 273
Subpar #2 TE: 223

Interviewer to Hunter Renfrow:

“Running a 2 minute drill must be fun.”

HR:

“Yeah the defense is usually playing off so the QB gets to pad his stats.”

I never understood why defenses always do that. Seems like it makes it so easy for most QB’s to get down field quickly.

You’re almost guaranteed to barring a QB making a bad throw(s) or a drop(s) by a receiver.
