So the season is over and we got a full season of this rookie class. So let’s take a full look.

Clelin Ferrell — 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 5 PDs, 1 FR. Started out slow and I was disappointed. He had a decent 2nd half to the season and I saw some things I liked at Clemson. Need to see more from him in 2020.

Josh Jacobs — over 1300 total rushing and receiving yards with 7 TDs in 13 games. Likely the unanimous OROY if he plays all 16 games. Still has a shot at the award. He’s a stud. Heal up for next year and let’s fuck shit up.

Jon Abram — INC grade. I do think he will be a solid player if he stays healthy but that’s a huge thing ‘if’ for me. Back to back season ending shoulder injuries now. I’m really curious to see what happens with him next year.

Trayvon Mullen — Honestly thought he had a really solid rookie campaign. Should’ve had more than 1 INT. Gets a little grabby but I thought half of his penalties were weak shit. He didn’t get beat deep very often so is already an improvement over Conley.

Maxx Crosby — Steal of the draft. 10 sacks, 4 FF, 4 PDs, and I believe it was 16 TFLs. Just a fucking stud out of the gate. And I’ve read stats that he was double teamed more than guys like Nick Bosa and as often as Mack. At the very least should be in the conversation for DROY with Bosa/Allen even if he doesn’t win.

Isaiah Johnson — INC — No clue what we have here

Foster Moreau — 5 TDs as a rookie and seemed to make big plays when we needed him. He would’ve had more yards without Waller taking targets. Another steal. Heal up, man.

Hunter Renfrow — 49 catches, over 600 yards, and 4 TDs. Ended the season with back to back 100 yard games. He just gets open and has sticky hands. He just makes plays. I’d like to see him gain a few lbs of muscle and come back a little stronger. Another steal.

Alec Ingold — Turned out to be a nice UDFA find. Nice combo in the backfield with him and Jacobs.

AJ Cole — Not a bad year from the rookie punter. Big improvement from Townsend last year.

Keisean Nixon — He seemed to do well on ST. Can’t ask for much more out of a UDFA than that.

Keelan Doss — I know he’s a fan favorite here but dude needs to get his shit together to make a roster next year. Sloppy routes and bricks for hands. We’ll see.

Overall this is about as much of an A grade of a draft as I’ve seen here. Hats off to Mayock. These guys are hopefully the foundation for a contending team in Vegas. I’m pretty excited to see what these guys do next year with some additional talent around them.

What a good rookie class, even with (IMO) two complete first round whiffs.

really an incredible draft class. The sting of Ferrell not looking that great (but he hasn't been a total bust) and Abram getting out first game taints it quite a bit though. I don't think he had back to back shoulder surgeries though did he? That would be more cause for concern. If we do the old Crosby Ferrell draft spot swap we'd be feeling better about it.
I think Abram we will like a lot if he's able to stay on the field.
We really need another back so Jacobs stays fresh and healthy. Washington did better than I thought he would while Jacobs was out but we need a real 2nd option at RB.

I'd like a real Thumper type back to pair with him. Jacobs runs hard and does his thing. I want a guy with the Derick Henry mindset of run a MFer over. He doesn't need to be Henry. Just have that mindset.

If we re-drafted the full draft right now, I expect Jacobs and Crosby would both be top 10 picks.

I think one way to look at "a successful draft" is to re-slot the players and add up the draft pick value of those slots. If the draft pick value is higher than your total value that you took into the draft, it's a win. If it's less the value you took into the draft, it's a loss.

I expect the Raiders would come out ahead even with the disconnect between the value of #4 and Ferrell's production.

It was for sure a shoulder injury that kept Abram out of the Senior Bowl. Not sure about surgery for it but it’s made him miss time before. Definitely a concern for me.

I honestly think Ferrell comes around next year and builds off his solid 2nd half of the season. His concussion and illness were bigger factors in his early season slump than I originally thought IMO. At worst he’s going to be a solid DE for us.

He had a much better 2nd half.

He's not gonna gain speed, agility and bend though and become anything more than an OK starter.

One more thing about Mullen, dude is very competitive. He got carted off on a stretcher and then comes back to play the following week. With Abram and him, at least they won't be lying down in games.

I’d let Washington walk for an upgrade but I’d bring back Richard because he’s better in the passing game. For RB2, go find a short yardage hammer.

I thought both Good and Sharpe were respectable depth players. I wouldn’t mind seeing them back on the cheap.

I would LOVE to see both Mayowa and Dion Jordan back, to be honest. Same with Will Compton, though I’m not opposed to looking elsewhere. I thought Burfict played pretty well for us but it’s clear that the NFL wants him out of the league.

I’d like to keep either Worley or Lawson. Neither are great but both are decent depth wise. Yes, both are theoretically upgrade-able but what are the chances? Right now we have reason to be optimistic about Mullen and..... then what?

I’m cool with keeping Peterman into camp. Same with Carlson. Same with Morrow, who is frustrating because there were a couple of games where he looked damned good.... and 14 games where he looked average to horrible.

I don’t have strong opinions about the rest of them, Doss included. Well, I do like Rico Gafford, I suppose.

I'm still looking for 4 LBs who are better than Compton, whether I bring him back or not.

The way I look at it Mayock just had more draft capital than any Raider draft in history. They needed to smash the first round and didn't. Max is the guy making him look good right now.

I think Mullen/Moreau were steals.

Ingold and Cole in the UDFA class.

It was a good class on the whole adding it all up.

The first round was terrible though. I hope Mayock learns his lesson.
