All the post Carr meltdown in KC “circle jerking” has gotten us off task a bit.

Titans are red hot. 5-1 after Tannehill got the nod. Simmons off of IR and Landry, and the speedy ILB’s and savvy secondary are gonna be a problem.

For whatever reason, over the years we have seemed to play better against 3-4 teams though. So I guess we have that going for us. Should probably have a very Bears week type of game plan IMO. Heavy Jacobs, play action and try to neutralize Landry on the edge.

On defense I expect us to get ran over on the ground and shredded through the air. The Titans have exactly the type of offense, RB and QB that’s gonna be a nightmare to watch most likely.

It’s at home, so maybe we can hang in there. Gruden eluded to some changes at WR and had a practice indoors today (likely hiding some new plays with different players). I’m thinking Rico will be a part of the plan. Perhaps Doss as well.

We have played the Titans well over the years but I just can’t pick the home team after what I’ve seen the last two weeks.

I'd love to win 2 of the next 4 and at least go 8-8. Honestly even 7-9 is a fine season for this roster. I can't handle another blowout haha hopefully playing at home the next two weeks gives us some competitive games at least.
 
Flame me if you want but I hope we get curb stomped. I hope Carr melts down completely and our defense gets embarrassed again. Shitty thing for a fan to wish for I know but the less ambiguous the end of year decisions are the better. Just no injuries.
 
The titans are going to pass it AND run it right down our throats. Carr will continue his downward spiral and we will be down 24 - 3 at the half.

Great, so now we have to game plan for the guy we passed on to take PJ Hall for? FML. This has all the makings of another ass whoopin. Book is out on Carr and Gru's offense and Titans are another top 10 rushing defense. Vinny has it about right, they will shut our offense down and wear our defense out. 41 seems a little high... i'm going with 31-13.
 
I think it will be closer than you guys think. Raiders at home in Oakland for the second to last time. We usually play Tenn pretty good albeit with Mariotta lately. Carr playing for his football life and still mathematically in it for the playoffs although a long shot.

Maybe. Should be wet Sunday, probably doesn't bode well for captain small hands. Titans have a solid roster, Mariota was holding them back. Bet they make the playoffs.
 
As @Armyr8rfan noted, 3-4 Ds are a good matchup for us when running between the Ts. Running out of 21 or 31 personnel means every guy being blocked except the NT (maybe) is giving up 50 pounds. This makes it more likely to put 8 in the box and makes the D extra vulnerable to play action.

The D has played better than its talent level the past few weeks. Gonna see more of Hankins and Hall on early downs to go against the Titan O-line which also has decent size.

This should be a close game. And close games are the ones Carr has played best in.
 
The Titans have a certain toughness to them that Oakland does not seem to have.

At this point I am expecting a Raider loss this Sunday.

Did the Jets even punt? I’m at a loss. I thought they did their job vs Chiefs and Bengals tho.

I'm with you; somewhat. I hate blowouts from just a visceral reaction of embarassment as a fan.

However, with blow out losses, it feels like any inertia to make changes are eliminated. Change has to occur. This in contrast with close losses, with the familiar "oh, if we just finished drives," or "we left points out on the field."

Lose big and becomes clearer on what needs to be changed.
