Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers will announce Tuesday, Jan. 17, that they have hired Norv Turner as their new offensive coordinator.

I heard this and just laughed...I guess this must mean the 9ers are gonna reach on LenDale White, because their backs are god awful, and supposedly that's what he's good at.

White looks to be the kind of back that Turner likes (so I'm told :rolleyes: ).

Anyway at this point the 49ers are just a floundering franchise. But don't laugh cuz the Raiders haven't been far behind the last three years. Hopefully that is going to change in a hurry.
