So yesterday I participated in a interactive mock draft thread from another board of another team that one of my best friends asked me to do to help out and pick for the Raiders and do an AFC West analysis of the picks of the AFC West.

So as the draft hit rd 2 I started to do my due diligence and started to research the consensus that most posters here and around the net seem to think that the Raiders pick will be a guard.

Somehow in my research that Gallery/Davis article popped up about how Gallery said that he and Davis came to a mutual agreement about parting ways and then Bagdad Bob tosses his shit into the middle and claims that there were no mutual agreement that Gallery wanted 8 million and the Raiders were offering around 2.5.

In that original article I somehow overlooked a statement Herrera made about the Raiders being 2-2 without Gallery and 6-6 with him in the lineup.

Intresting I thought because for some reason I thought he had only missed 2 games. So yesterday I went to my best friend the DVR and decided I was gonna watch those 4 games that Robert missed- Somehow, maybe out of disguste I erased the Rams game.. I dunno- but the Texans, Chargers and Cards games were still intact

So I watched the Rams and Cards game only focusing in on the LG position and Daniel Loper.

I just finished the Chargers game today.

Fellas, I'm guilty- When were on offense I focus on the ball thats it. Well Im here to tell ya .. Daniel Loper fuckin rocked it.

And before anyone tosses out the facepalm icon, I challange you and actually encourage everyone here, if'n ya got some free time and those 4 games on your DVR to sit and pay close attention to Daniel Loper

Dude was real solid- Watch the Chargers game, his pull sealed off that DT and allowed Bush to score for the go ahead score. McFaddens 125 yard rushing game vs the Texans was a big part of Lopers blocks.

I had no idea he played as good as he did, somehow overlooked it- but fellas, dont be shocked if the Raiders feel like Loper is as good as Gallery and feel they can replace him without missing a beat, which is why I gotta believe the staff and Davis told Gallery"lower your offer"

And how can we all forget the

HOLY LOPER!

I dont have the technology to youtube a highlight of Lopers play in those 4 games, but I was able to find some highlights of those games

Me? I got no problem going into the season with Veldheer and Loper on that left side.. no problems at all

My new pick at 48 is Jah Reid the RT from Central Florida, with someone like Orlando Franklin in rd 3 to eventually replace Carlisle

Dig- watch Loper in at LG

Looks like he's been pretty much handed the starting LG gig for now as evidenced by the money Al threw at him. Not a long term solution by any stretch, but I think a capable fill in until we can sort this Ol thing out.

I've got no problems with writing Loper's name in pencil at the starting LG spot.

Veldheer - Loper* - Satele* - Bruce* - Walker*

Only spot thats pretty solid to me right this second is Veldheer on the blindside. I'm hoping Bruce nails down either spot on the right side. Starting bookends in round 3 and 4 of a draft would be awesome...

I'll be very happy if any 2 of the following will be announced as Raiders:

Marcus Cannon
Lil Wiz
John Moffit

If he doesn't just stop blocking for inexplicable reasons, his guy doesn't cause the fumble that led to the Holy Loper. Just an observation.

Loper moves a lot better than his size suggests he would. Still, we have a disaster at RG, and no depth at LG even if Loper is the guy. The need is there.

Looks like Marcus Cannon will be gone before our pick, but if he's there he seems a great pick.

Well hopefully there's enough concerns about his nut sacks that he'll drop to us at 48.

Maybe we can plant eyes in the back of the guys head?

Maybe, just maybe if Campbell wouldnt carry the ball like he's carrying a baby

Outta 3 of the 4 games I watched of Loper the last couple days- that was Campbells fuckup not Lopers

But shit Crow, I'd figure we'd see the Picard dude with the Homer Simpson "yellow disease" facepalm icon by now

You're slacking, ya MF'er!

Bones up his game !!!

Up yours !!!!! :)

It's "Block through the whistle", not "Block until you assume the whistle must have blown and you just didn't hear it."

That's why the Raiders hired Wisniewski, I think.

Should hire Danny Clark to be assistant LB coach when he retires. Whatever he did to Tomlinson's ribs, all these young LBs need to learn that trick.

I shouldn't have laughed, but I did.
