Last several years Birdwell has done a great job of laying out prospects to watch in what games. Last year he was busy and unable to get the thread going so I stepped up. Now that the Bowl Games have been announced and scheduled, who should we be watching?
I moved this last summer, and don't have TV. I watch RAIDER games online, but haven't watched any college games, so I am WAY behind this year. I will be back home for the holidays though and will get to watch all the Bowl Games. Who has really stuck out in your guys estimation? Who should we be watching?

The Wisconsin-TCU game is one to keep an eye on... The Wisconsin O-line has been real impressive... I really like John Moffitt who can stay at OG or swing back to the center spot he played a few years ago... Marcus Cannon has just been beastly for TCU... He'll probably kick inside and be a Carl Nicks type of guard...

I'm probably over-fixated on Wisnewski, but I can't wait to see the Penn St. game because I had heard he moved to Guard this season, but haven't been able to watch any games. Their Bowl game last year, he looked dominant at Center. Either way, I gotta boner on the idea of him coming to the Silver and Black. Pouncey is playing the other side in that game.
Moffit (and Carimi) as well as Cannon are already on my radar, so I will definitely like to watch them.

RR, I'm working on it. Have a new gig, caught a lot more college ball this year. I hope to have something up next week. Not that that will be definitive, of course, just a basis for discussion. Glad to have a seperate section of the forum for it this year, since the season is far more important, for a WELCOME change.
Tomorrow afternoon has a big one for the draftniks.
JJ Watt matching up against Marcus Cannon. Watt is apprently coming out, so that should be a huge matchup.
Cirimi and John Clay also could be early picks.

John Moffitt bitch...
Rose Bowl:
Moffitt and Cirimi look beastly in the run game, Cannon moves amazingly well for a 350 pounder. He doesnt look like he needs to be a G at all.

I'd take anyone we look at from that TCU D. They know how to tackle.
Tank Carder is a fascinating player. Shows no ability to cover and comes off the field on anticipated passing downs (unless he stays in to blitz).
Earlier in the day, the lack of physicality by Pouncey despite his amazing mobility made me long for the natural RG that is Mr. Wisniewski.
Ryan Broyles has 6 for 110 and there is still 5 minutes left in the half.
I know we have needs and all that, but I wasnt lying when I said he's my favorite college receiver ever. I hope he doesnt go to KC if he comes out...
Another grab. They are double teaming him every play now too, lol.

The thing I like about Moffitt is he has played center and could swing back there giving us a legitimate 330 pound power guy... I actually like him better as a center candidate than I do Wisnewski, whose feet IMO makes for a better guard...

Swwet TD catch by Broyles... makes up for being caught from behind on that punt return by a one legged O-lineman and then fumbling...
