Ha!! kick ass- about 50 years ahead of its time-- man, that MF'er was blasting out harmonics on a street corner at age 8...
Came from a poor family and was a complete prodigy- He was Mozart modern day
He wrote his own shit- blind too- unlike Elvis.. that MF'er didnt write shit- hell, they even let the MF'er act
Gimmie old schoold instrument players

Hell ya man! I read a story about Stevie not too long ago. I read that his type of blindness is actually curable with Lasik surgery. However Stevie has opted never to have such a procedure done as he feels it would've destroyed his creativity. Can you guys imagine that? Choosing blindness over sight due to being so dedicated to your craft? True genius!
True genius!
No doubt man-
To think that alot of these artists(And I dont call them musicians to embarrass the true cats like Wonder) just buy pre-programmed shit and all they do is lay down fuckin lyrics
Heres a blind MF'er writing, composing and singing his shit from scratch
Ya gotta respect that man
Man, guys like Wonder come around every 100 years- and I aint fuckin around when I tell ya that
Big fan of Alan Holdsworth- great guitar player that just gets a raw fuckin deal-
Better than 75% of guitarist out there
Whats funny is you see stupid bands like Green fucking Day making millions ripping off Yes and other great bands yet guys like Alans Holdsworth struggles to sell 100k records
Unreal what music has evolved into
Forget lessons Junior- just buy this program and let it do the work for ya- you're a star in 3 easy clicks Junior!!!

Amen to every word my man. I was thinkin when you posted the Nazareth video how real musicians are practically extinct now. We're lucky I guess, we still appreciate real music cause we know what real music still is. I was playing some old 1980's Stevie Ray Vaughn followed by some Peter Frampton on youtube and damn, it almost made me wanna cry that guys like that are gone now, and whose he been replaced by? That's the hardest part about it, no one's picked up there torches.

theres a couple- Black Crowes are a pretty raw blues/rock band- love their stuff
Lately been on one of my favorite bands - Kings X - We opened for these guys back when I was in Powersurge in the 80's- great guys and I'm a big fan of Ty Tabor(guitarist)- real cool guy- we talked for hours after the show sucking beers about old Zepplin albums and shit
Dogman is a great album- its one on those albums you can listen to all the way through without pushing the foward button to the next song

Hey Darth
Zakk did a complilation album back in the early 90's in a band called CPR...with some bad MF'ers- they covered "I wish"- its a very hard album to find and recommend it without reservation
I've heard many bands try and cover that song and 99% of them failed- This is about as close as you'll ever get

When I listen to bands like Nazareth at work the older guys keep asking my how old I am, then tell me thats what they listened to growing up. One told me he didn't think I was old enough to even know who they were. I'm gonna check some of the bands listed in this thread may find something I haven't heard and like or something I have heard and didn't know who it was by.

i opened up for Zak Wylde and he played through my amp. Dude jammed until the wee hours of the night, i was like hey can i have my amp back i want to go home! Dude was unbelieveable... he probably played for like 4 hours, sang and played guitar for all the songs and drank a case of beer on stage. stud...
Funny. I was just drowning myself in some Zakk and thought I'd post one or two.
