Looks like our best O-lineman will be out on Sunday

News, notes and observations Friday following Raiders practice and a press briefing with coach Tom Cable:

– Left tackle Robert Gallery is listed as doubtful, but almost certainly won’t play Sunday because of a hamstring pull, the 11th game he’s missed out of the last 17. Daniel Loper will start in his place.

Kinda hard to find a reason to pick the Raiders this week. The Rams suck too but at least they were competitive.

Henderson played pretty solid last week. We can move Houston inside if we need to. I think we'll be ok.

Loper had some decent spurts in pre-season. Hope this is an audition for him to move to RG when Gallery comes back. I'd have to venture a guess that Cable might bench Veldheer for this one.

The Raiders better play inspired and mistake free. Otherwise, they will get beat. The Rams' D played well; Jackson's a stud; and Bradford's very accurate. If he's in rhythm and playing in short 3rd down situations, he'll move the chains for sure.

:cry:Agreed. The worst in the NFL and the Raiders, knowing that, just rolled with it all off season. Denial . Stupidity? You choose.
