Have you been to the new and old Soldier Fields? Would like to know your thoughts on it.

I've been to both manifestations of Soldier Field. It's pretty cool. The new part of it is kind of weird looking because it's so modern and it sits on those Doric columns.
I haven't seen a game there, though.
My bucket list includes spending a football season going to games at the stadiums I've always wanted to see. Is that weird?
If anybody's going to the Phoenix game during the regular season, let me know. Got tickets a couple of days ago.

I drove by the remodeled Solider Field last year...pretty cool looking. Didn't get to go inside though.

Please...
That's a dream of mine, and I'm sure many other fans too.

I've never been to the new Soldier Field, just the old one. I live in Chicago so we'll see how they react to me in an all Raider look.:D

The juxtaposition in architectural styles ruined that stadium.

Thanks.
No, it's not weird. Seeing sports live, and football in particular, is about atmosphere, even if it's at a local sports bar. No-one (that I know of) goes to the library to watch a game. What? Pass notes when your team scores? "The excited denizens of Hanford Public Library wrote in a frenzy as their team put up 17 points in the closing minutes to steal the victory."

That was my impression of the renderings and pictures, but you never know until you see things in the proper scale from the proper perspective.

I went to the October 2003 Raiders - Bears game at Soldier Field. Gannon was still the QB and I believe Kordell Stewart QB'd the Bears. Raiders lost due to a last second field goal. One of the games that sent the season in a downward spiral.
The new Soldier field is really nice. If you go, you will enjoy the venue.

There's actually quite a few Raiders fans in Chicago. I've always received a warm welcome from most folks on the street. Ain't nuthin' like Coloraddy.
Looks like a UFO crashed into the place. I saw it from the air and up close. Just...strange. Like putting spinning rims on a horse drawn carriage.. It just doesn't fit.
That said, I'm sure it's really freaking nice in terms of being inside watching a game. I don't doubt that at all.
