In honor of the best argument against Clausen which, though not too bad, is still not convincing, but at least it as a rational position - below is a link to a video interview done after McClain was drafted:

For anyone that missed the best, and only, argument against Clausen here it is:
You seriously cannot be as fuggin dense as you seem... Not wanting to take Clausen does not equate to liking Russell... Not wanting Clausen could mean people prefer to go get a vet or prefer to draft a LeFevour or someone else later... Not everyone thinks Clausen is top 5 talent as you do... Ironically, I keep on thinking that about you and too many others here and even more ironically this is the best argument against Clausen anyone has made thus far. If you think that the difference between LeFevour is not that great and you favor addressing other needs until the team drafts him, then that is a better argument. However, repeatedly stating that Clausen is a bad pick simply because he was arrogant as a freshman or because other teams, who do not have the same need at QB as the Raiders do, passed on him simply does not cut it.
All that not withstanding - congratulations, this is the first good argument made against drafting Clausen. For what it is worth, I still think Clausen is better, however I can see the logic here, so I would not be too against this.
