What the fuck are they thinking? A lot of people will be driving home from work etc. ...So the yearly "what are your plans for the draft thread" is probably not necessary anymore. Lucky to even watch 1/4 of it. Jeeeez. Killing the goose that laid the golden egg. Well done assholes.

Why NFL. Why?

The NFL draft moves to primetime for the first time in 2010, with the first round taking place Thurs., April 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the second and third rounds on Fri., April 23 at 6 p.m. ET. Rounds 4-7 will be held Sat., April 24 at 10 a.m. ET. Watch the entire draft live on NFL Network.

I'm going to wait until after the draft is over before I pass judgment. I rarely watched after the 3rd round anyway.

doesn't make a big difference to me, but it does feel like they are going to drag it out more than they need to.
It could be a good thing though for this reason- it gives teams a lot more time to think about trades etc. for rounds 2-7

I didn't realize it was on that early!

Luckily we have Direct TV in the Lobby, & I'll DVR it in case I'm on the road when they finally get to #8.

So much for "Sorry honey do list, I'm watching the draft"!

It should change next year when they realize how much influence the West Coast has when it comes to LIVE Sports!

Even on a Saturday, I end up recording (DVR) it and rewinding when I have more time to watch it. I'd rather have it on Saturday but in the end, with the use of technology, it still ends in the same place for me
