I know people still believe in Russell, but we have a chance to win games.
Maybe if we show some life, than seymour would want to stay>
Maybe we could score some free agents next year?
If this keeps up, who would want to come here and play?
Nobody!
Gradkowski, if he does some damage and shows he can be a legitimate QB, than we dont have to worry about signing one.
But the most important thing is, getting free agents here. Making our vets believe there is some light here in Oakland.
Thats why it is important!

Like the Bucanneers needed Gradowski?
Uuumm, yeah OK.
Seriously, I advocated the possibility of sitting Russell for a time period IF he is in fact loafing it and IF in fact this is on him more than it is on the shitty offense around him, but pining for Gradkowski is a reach IMO.
Who the hell knows, you could be right however....

This is what I get for ignoring my ignored list.
What a stupid fucking thread.
Free agents will want to come here because Bruce fucking Gradkowski is the QB?
Seymour will want to stay because Gradkowski is the QB?
This just in: Russell was the QB last year. Didn't stop us from signing Greg Ellis. Didn't stop us from re-signing Chris Johnson, Nnamdi Asomugha and Shane Lechler.

Jack, at the end of last season Russell looked like he might be a legit NFL starting QB.
What we've seen in the first four games this year is NOT a legit NFL starting QB.
What we're seeing is a guy with some sort of a problem.
He's regressed.
We can blame the team around him, but that only goes so far.
Russell himself is not doing the job he's paid to do.
And I LOL at those who have said that he played a good game last week.
If the organization had it's shit together, Russell would definitely sit down.
