Doug I been screaming this. so I whole heartedly agree with you..

We need A solid NT or DT that is going to penetrate and cause massive problems, We should go ahead and give to the browns demands on what they want for rogers they can have our 2nd or 3rd round pick and Garcia, its clear they need em more than we do. But we really really need rogers.

peace

God bless bro

well might as well put my latest information here...

from the sounds - prices of guys we are looking at are skyrocketing due to injuries around the league

the Panthers and now the Bears are looking at some of the same guys we are. I'm hearing cleveland is looking to make a swap rather then a trade for picks... And the other guys that are looking to be moved come with injury issues or other issues. We'll be watching cutdowns for players that can help us but many of those players won't be better then Boschetti/Bryant. We'd love to have another Gerard Warren situation but it's not looking likely.

Thanks for the update Lang. Unfortunately we don't have a lot to offer back in terms of a swap. I know there's a few teams like Jax who are pretty thin at QB depth. Maybe package up Garcia and someone else as it seems that Gradkowski and Frye have a decent grip on this offense. See what the Bucs would take for Dre Moore if they're even willing to move him. When it's all said and done though, we'll probably get someone off the scrap heap like we usually do.

thats looking like whats going to happen. From what I can tell Cleveland isn't giving Rogers or Williams up for less then what they paid for them.

other guys are losing depth too quickly and I'm hearing Carolina is just desperate for someone that can come in and replace Maake Kemoatu

Moore isn't a guy I think we are targeting. Theres a reason he wasn't scooped up off Tampa's PS last year.

I've got a couple guys I'll be watching and I'm hoping the raiders are as well.

They'll be a couple decent guys avaliable after the min cut down - band-aid type players - but enough to get a team through the season until the draft rolls around

I'll send Al an email and ask him. Film @ eleven. :righton:

I know every one has a hard on about getting us a DT.
I would love that but it won't happen. I want us to bite the bullet and move to a 3-4....THINK ABOUT IT!...

We have all these LB'ers that can run and play our D line can't stop the run. So what do you do make the LB'ers stop the run...

I'm sure Ellis would be stoked about that. :D

we don't have a DT worth and damn and you want us to move to a 3-4?

Kelly/Warren/X would be our front... and it wouldn't be pretty. Ellis would shift to OLB... but our other LBs just don't have the size. Maybe Scott would be a positive shift. Howard/Morrison in the middle... but whoever that other DE is (Richardson/Shagnasty/Bryant/Joseph) needs to get some sand in his shorts... and we have noone to rotate at the nose. It looks more like we are compounding our issues rather then solving them.

No what I am saying is we have the LB'ers to play 3-4, Not saying we should this year.... Just stick Kelley or Warren in the middle let Scott and Ellis play the outside DE's move the back up DT's in and out at all three spots.

I KNOW WE ARE NOT GONNA DO THAT...
I also know we aren't trading for a DT.....so what the hell....

I don't even see our LBs as fits for a 3-4 is the problem. 3-4 LBs need to be able to get off blocks. Scott, Howard, Morrison, Brown, Alston - these guys stick to blocks like glue.

does anyone remember why we didn't show any serious interest in Haynesworth?

because we don't have the cap space and he wouldn't sign here anyway.

Actually Kelly played pretty fuckin good

Just need to find a guy to plug next to him

Should have that resolved either in the draft or FA next year

Right now - We gotta concentrate on TOP and scoring

If we can average 21 points a game we'll win 8 games

Answer a TD with a TD and knock your kness together we get a takeway here or there

because we weren't going to pay him the type of coin he wanted. we didn't have the cap room and Kelly/Warren are "OK" players. Unfortunately there just wasn't much out there besides Haynesworth.

Why we didnt go after Rod Coleman I'll never know

With clancy and Ellis - lets hope Rod Coleman gets the axe after taking last year off

That could be a name you'll hear as a FA
