The ratings have been apparently overhauled....top tier guys like Nam (99), are top tier....and their ratings are vastly different from the John Bowies of the world (39).....Some quick disagreements...Gallery a bit low to me.., Chaz at 64??.....DHB at 76 may actually be over-rated.....

Our overall ratings are about right.

Bottom third with some good players and some really, really bad players.

Javon Walker: 71? Not for these last few years. The fact that he's actually ahead of Higgy Bear indicates that Madden still employs people who make no effort to watch games or fact check.

Satele, Carlisle, and Wade are clearly too high.

Gallery deserves a better rating by now.

TK is an 80. I almost knocked myself out facepalming.

Generous rating for Burgess as well.

Morrison getting at 87 is almost as ludicrous as Kelly's rating.

I was a little surprised to see Jano so low. Not that he's a stud, but he's been pretty good recently.

It's all based upon the way they "sim" the game. They try to get the results to match the real world by tweaking the player attributes. LOL! That's funny.

I pre-ordered the game, you get a different demo than the one online...its PITT vs AZ, 5 min qtrs....best Madden, or NFL game , ever....even better than NFL 2K5, my all time fave. Players for the first time have a weighted feel to them ala' the 2k series...and EA finally made the game LOOK LIKE A GAME ON TV !!! Halftime reports, weekly shows etc.....can't wait for the 14th.....

I just bought it yesterday. I haven't had a chance to get into yet. I'll let you know what I think by week's end. Also, I did a little practicing. Much different than before. I liked it as it gives you tips to improve technique on shedding blocks, using your blockers, etc. as you go along.
