I love this kid's "lunchpail" attitude. If the Raiders could get 10 more just like him and we'd be alright.

Thanks for posting the interview, I probably would have not heard it otherwise, Zack is definitely a stud for us, heck he was probably our best draft value in years (oh yeah, that is until Mitchell gets on the field) ;). I don't know about you guys, buy we have a lot of the key ingredients in place on "O", the problem is they are ingredients with alot of potential and that are still unproven, except for Zach Miller that is.

I dont know if it is a lack of confidence or humility, but the guy really was a low key "awe shucks" kinda guy, at least in that interview. But I love to hear a TE or WR take pride in blocking, especially run blocking. HE should easily lead the team in receptions, rec. TD's and rec. yards. I predict a Pro Bowl for the kid!
I like the way Cable is getting into the players heads, telling them to BE TOUGH, and BATTLE!
The "Paul Bunyan" reference regarding Jamarcus Russell was hilarious.
I liked the comments Zack made about the fans and how he didn't call us "strange". He's so mellow and laid back. He's young.
Most of all I liked the last part of the interview. Zack just talking about his favorite thing being "living the dream", stepping on the field on Sundays and just realizing he's in the NFL and he made it.
Not only that, but his drive is impressive. The way he wants to be a Pro-bowler and live up to the Raiders tight end legends of the past. What an impressive, young man. I really think he's something else.
In a day and age where there are the Randy Moss' and the T.O.'s mouthing off, and the show offs and the players trying to be joe playboy, it sure is nice to see a young man with his head on straight.
We're very fortunate to have Miller in Oakland.
"Friggin, GO RAIDERS!"
