So he really doesn't mind playing on a dysfunctional losing team. Ronald was quoted at the Lions facility "It's just like home" (just joking).

Curry Visiting Lions

Unrestricted free agent wide receiver Ronald Curry, a former Oakland Raiders starter, is visiting the Detroit Lions today, according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.

The Lions have been looking to bolster wide receiver depth, claiming former Kansas City Chiefs wideout Will Franklin off waivers Tuesday.

According to NFL.com, Curry has caught 193 career passes for 2,347 yards and 13 touchdowns. Last season, Curry registered 19 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns.

The 29-year-old former University of North Carolina standout caught 55 passes for 717 yards and four touchdowns in 2007. In 2006, Curry caught a career-high 62 passes for 727 yards.

The Lions feature Calvin Johnson at wide receiver, but could use another target to go with him after signing Bryant Johnson during the offseason. Especially since the Lions are considering drafting University of Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford with the top overall pick.

Will Franklin getting waived is interesting.

Officially the lowest pick in that draft to get cut/waived so far.

What the fuck? Ronald Curry has nothing to do with anyone else in the NFL but the Raiders until he signs with another team. We are the only one's (AL) willing to pick him and stay with him. Anyone remember the catch in Denver! That image is one of the few highlights of the last few years. How quickly they forget. Why this was moved escapes me. It is not exciting news but it is Raider News.

Well fuck him.

I'm stick of that guy anyway. He had one lousy catch in his career and that's all people talk about. The rest of the time he was below average.
