It just keeps getting better :D

Jay Cutler confirmed late Sunday that he will not report to offseason training on Monday and has formally requested a trade from the Broncos.

Cutler emerged from the weekend's meeting with Josh McDaniels feeling the rookie coach "made it clear he wants his own guy (at QB)," and "said he wasn't sorry about (trying to trade for Matt Cassel)." "How can I trust him now?," Cutler added. Cutler did say he'll attend any mandatory offseason work if he stays on the roster, but believes that "really, it's best for me to move on." The Broncos remain outwardly steadfast that Cutler will not be traded.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. This will get the Donkeys off to a niuce start before they even start.

The McDaniels cat is really fugging up the works it seems. Meanwhile the genius Bowlen or whatever the fuck his name is is standing there holding his dick. Just beautiful, baby!

Scheffler and Cutler have the same agent, and now the Donks' new HC is trying to trade the Donks' starting TE. What a mess.

REPORT: SCHEFFLER ON TRADING BLOCK
Posted by Aaron Wilson on March 22, 2009, 1:58 p.m.

While Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler is the subject of trade rumors, Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler is definitely on the trading block, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Per the report, the Broncos are fielding offers for Scheffler because new coach Josh McDaniels is more inclined toward blocking tight ends as he installs his offense. Scheffler, 26, is regarded as a good receiver.

The team reportedly isn’t necessarily committed to definitely moving Scheffler. However, the team is looking to explore the situation.

According to NFL.com, Scheffler caught 40 passes last season for 645 yards and three touchdowns in seven starts last season.

In three NFL seasons, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound former Western Michigan standout has registered 107 receptions for 1,480 yards and a dozen touchdowns.

Might as well put this here:

Owner: Broncos actively trying to trade Cutler
Associated Press

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - The Denver Broncos said Tuesday they will grant Jay Cutler his request and try to trade the disgruntled Pro Bowl quarterback.

There is no shortage of teams interested in the 25-year-old rocket-armed Pro Bowl quarterback.

Broncos owner Pat Bowlen released a statement saying both he and coach Josh McDaniels had been unable to get Cutler to call them back over the last 10 days. Bowlen said he spoke with Cutler's agent, Bus Cook, on Tuesday and came away convinced "that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos."

Therefore, Bowlen said, "We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded."A trade with Detroit will really throw the draft upside down.

Looks like Mr Cutler is on his way out. This after all that "he's our QB" crap. Jay knows the deal. The Donks are headed for the spot we've been occupying for the past 5 or 6 years.

Maybe they can find Frank Tripucka's phone number down at the home and let him play on throwback Sundays.
