For the first time in almost 6 years I have changed my avatar.

Sad.

Somewhere Crow is laughing. To say nothing of Steve Sarkisian.

They were both right.

To think that just 2 days ago I was consoling a Lions fan....I feel like such a nut sack.

I wonder if it's too late to cancel my sunday ticket and get a prorated refund....

Nobody thought it was gonna be a great performance, fans were expecting a more or less close game; but what the Raiders showed on the field has no name and compares to the worst days of Butt Bungal, Mike White, Norv Turner, and Art Shell.

Kiffin should be deeply embarrassed (as were all now). He is the director, nice roster or not, the results are pretty low. He can't blame the lack of control.

How can you call that a professional team?

Were embarrassed, dissapointed and fucked up through every hole in the body.

Paper bag hats time. Fans should not buy many tickets.

I disagree, it's not that he doesn't get to sign every guy he wants, few coaches do. He gets guys foisted on him that he doesn't want. There's a huge difference IMO.

.

Why not? Players at the end of the bench he doesn't want, (that is fix-able, BTW), and a Rob Ryan he didn't want.

Biggest problem last night was defense, which is completely out of his control.

In any org, thr higher you get, the more compromises you have to fulfill just for going up. You have to work with what you have at reach. Otherwise, quit. But don't complain.

Compromises are one thing. But to sit and hear how Kiffin should be fired after the defense he has no control over allows 42 points........

it wasnt even the 42

as soon as the defense gave up 17, they quit

and once the defense quit, what was the offense going to do?

Fuck Davis for implying this retarted scheme, Fuck Ryan for not having the balls to go against Al and fuck Hall for being the weakest link in a defense that looked very weak

In such a case, almost every coach could use that as an excuse. He knew the conditions when he came here. No surprise. Al Davis has control of a lot of things, specially the roster.

I'm not saying Al Davis is right, just that Kiffin accepted the rules, signed a contract and suddenly whines too much after a year. But Money is a powerful motivator. He has to stand up like a man and accept the facts. It would be the same for any other coach here, including Gruden.

Seems to me Kiffin wants out badly. His body language reeks of "I really don't care". Same with his PCs and interaction with the media. It's kinda like "what do you want me to say"? In other words let me out of here.

Bottom line is that Kiffin isn't about to leave $2 Million on the table and I don't blame him. Al doesn't want to fire him and pay him. Something is going to have to give.

I don't understand why people view it as whining... If he didn't say something, people would say he's too weak to stand up to Al... He hasn't been asking for anything any other coach would expect from any other organization...

I applaud him for bringing things to light instead of spraying the dead rat with Lysol as so many others have done before him...
