I'm on The Super Frogs in the Oceania A League. I joined in time for our 1st win, we're now 1-1. Found them in the forum looking for players. Bought myself a starting spot (levelled my player) and racked up 6 tackles (several on ST) and one pass defended. I play tight man coverage and you can see it on the game replays. My guy is always locking on. The other two CBs play the other two available techniques, and you can see it in the replays. Interesting.

This guy gives the promise of playing time, plus a no questions asked release when you've built up your player to the point that you want to venture out and go for the big contract...or at least a bigger contract. If you're looking for a team, hit this guy up.

The guy running the team had me in the starting UT role. My advanced tactics were set to geting after the QB, so I figured that'd work out. Dude flips me over to NT after I level up and doesn't tell me. So, basically, I was Gerrard Warren. A UT with low stamina playing the nose. Worked about as well as salt in the sugar bowl.

Got my setting set accordingly now, so I may even record a tackle next time.

Need some more friggin' FP, though. Damn it.

as a guy in the software biz i know how hard it is to keep homegrown stuff like this going. 10 bucks is hardly a big contribution and it keeps me entertained for a half hour or so a day.

Well, after Saturday's game, my level 4 CB became a level 5 CB, no cash, just experience, and in only 2 games. That's why PT is soooooo important, and stamina is critical to PT, of course starting helps even more.

Lang, I'm with ya. I'll be two of your CB's. Currently 2 and 1 year contracts for the 5 and 3 respectively. I dumped a little cash on them. I wanted a guy who played on even days and one who played on odd days. I hope Crow's Owner smarten's up and puts me in as a starter, or at a minimum, puts me on the depth chart. However, it sure is sweet having the biggest DT I've seen on the game.

The only guy close after scrolling through about 12 teams was a guy who was 6-5 323.

I'm level three while only playing 17 plays (and just 2 tackles). I think it just depends on how long your player has been in the game, even if you aren't on a team. Right now I'm backing up a level 6 SS so if Lang needs one I'm your guy.:D

It's kinda bizarre...as far as I know you don't really call plays, it's more about philosophy. With the roster we have, we better run the ball well and play really good defense...we have no deep threats at WR, our TE is faster than our WR's.

Dunno if you guys got this sent to you by the team GM..... but my GM is offering a 10 year contract extension based on this reasoning:


I just uploaded the option to take out a loan. They are short-term, high interest loans (27%), and carry a pretty hefty penalty of losing your team if you miss 2 payments, so make sure you plan and will be afford to pay back the loan before you take it out!

I also just uploaded some stuff to deal with chemistry for next season. Here's how it works, and this is to reward teams who stay together for a while:

- For every day that you don't add or remove somebody from your offense, defense, or team in general, your chemistry in the appropriate bar goes up by 1. This will process at day change. This means you can gain up to 40 chemistry if you stay together for a whole season and don't make any changes.

- For every player that you drop or trade away, you lose 3 chemistry from the appropriate bars (1 if it's a CPU).

- For every player that you add to your team, you lose 2 chemistry from the appropriate bars.

- This means: if you make a trade of a player for a player, you lose 3-5 chemistry. If you make a trade of a player for cash, you lose 1-3 chemistry.

- Chemistry will work similar to morale and energy in that affects your team's performance on the field. It won't affect it nearly as much as energy or morale, but it will have an effect. A team with good chemistry will play better than a team with poor chemistry.

- The minimum chemistry you can have is 10. The max is 100.

- A player leaving due to an expiring contract does not affect chemistry.

- Chemistry will not affect teams during this season in the playoffs. It will start on day 1 of season 2. We will reset every team's chemistry to 70 before the first games of season 2 run. You will be able to make moves during the off season to prepare for the upcoming changes.


FYI, I'm also going to throw my hat in the ring for a team.... If I get a team, I will open up the controls to anybody interested so everybody can see what it's like to be an owner, GM, coach, etc................
