Raiders Re-Sign

Raiders re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE John Madsen, WR Chris McFoy, LS Jon Condo, LB Ricky Brown, and OT Mark Wilson.

Madsen is basically a wideout playing tight end. He caught eight balls for 102 yards in 2007. Oakland is especially high on Wilson as a left tackle prospect. There's an outside chance he'll get a look there along with Kwame Harris.

I ignored that part. I'll believe it when I see it.

We have scouts attending the workouts of OTs that are probably going to be available later in the first round or early second. That tells me that we are going to be trading out of the #4 slot and we are going to be addressing the LT position in the draft also. Otherwise why attend?

We do that every year. Nothing out of the ordinary.

We'll see how Ed Snead helps us in the late rounds considering the fact we only have one pick in the first hundred. He seemed to do pretty well in the late rounds for Tennessee...
