First of our possible draft targets thread. Someone, convince me this should be the guy. Or not.

Nice little feature. He's thrown a few TD's too. God, if we took him, the first time we play SD, you gotta have him throw one. After getting burned by LT2 on that shit, have to get some revenge.

Nice compilation. Sick run up rthe gut vs. LSU, vision, speed, crazy. nice screen play vs. Ole Miss. Good run vs. Georgia. I kinda ignoire those pitch plays where he just outruns everyone to the corner. Won't happen much in the NFL.

One with rock music, for the old-timers.
He does seem high-waisted, tho, doesn't he? All those dumb CB's in college going high, those long legs are what people will be going after in the pros.
But man, he's at top speed in two steps. That's what makes LT2 such a stud, IMO.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones loves making big trades in the NFL draft. He loves getting big-name offensive playmakers in the NFL draft. And he loves Arkansas, his alma mater. What does that add up to?
With the first pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Arkansas running back Darren McFadden.
OK, we're a long way from that, and it's probably not happening. But since the Cowboys own two picks in the 2008 draft (their own and the Browns', which they got in the Brady Quinn trade), you can bet that Jones is already dreaming about what kind of trade up he could pull off. And then there's this report from ESPN Insider:
And the Dallas roster has just enough depth at a few positions that Jones probably could afford to throw a pretty good player into the mix of any trade proposal. The Miami Dolphins, who can clinch the top overall pick with a loss at Baltimore on Sunday, are more than one player away from even basic respectability, and might bite at the opportunity to turn the top overall choice into a draft bonanza. Plus, the Dolphins already have invested heavily in a tailback, Ronnie Brown ....
The Cowboys, no matter who has coached them, never really have embraced Julius Jones, and the veteran tailback is eligible for unrestricted free agency in the spring. Marion Barber is a terrific back, and is starting to get the bulk of the carries, but will be a restricted free agent.
It's probably not going to happen, because trades that big are hard to pull off. But it bears watching.

Mike Bush was a QB at one point, so...with or without McFadden, I expect us to try that bullshit once or twice.

He's kinda built like Robert Smith.
It would be something if this guy ebded up falling to us and Jerry Jones just had to make a deal with us for him.... that'd be too sweet.

Maybe they can throw Marion Barber in the mix. That guy is a baller.

I just ruined my boxers.
The only thing about making a deal with Dallas would be that both of their picks are near the bottom of the round. Jones isn't going to mortgage his draft for one guy. He ain't Ditka.
If we take McFadden, the first order of business has to be getting that dude to hit some calf raises. Skinny legged sumbitch.
Other than that, I dig him.
