Drop it down now for posterity.

I've been down on the Raiders this week, but I can't bring that negative vibe to Oakland with me, so it's all positive from here on out. :nono:

In all seriousness, the Raiders are facing a very shorthanded squad, in Oakland and they should have a chip on their shoulder. They've lost 3 straight games against tough defenses, but they've have competed hard in defeat.

Most importantly, the morale in Oakland remains high if all the various reports are to be believed.

The Raiders will rediscover their running game, Josh McCown will play some competent football and the defense will pick off a couple of Sage Rosenfels passes. I think we'll get it done against the run this week, even with the loss of Tommy Kelly.

It won't be beautiful, but it will be a solid win. Fargas & Rhoades combine for 180+ and 2 TD's.

McCown will pass for 2 more.

Raiders - 31
Texans- 13

Raiders run the ball and stop the run on D. Josh McCown plays a very solid game.

Raiders - 27

Texans - 16

McClown keeps his moniker, but the running game and passing defense help us to victory...Raiders 21, Texans 10.

150+ rush yards, McCown gets picked off, Curry fights for the first down a few times, the Texans will be lucky to finish near 100 yards, and Rosenfels won't throw a touchdown.

Raiders 14, Texans 6.

Josh McCown will throw two INT'S

Lamont will drop the rock at a critical time in the game. Averaging 2.1 yards a carry or less.

Barry Sims will have at least three false starts, and maybe a hold.

Robert Gallery will get called for holding and bring back a decent screen play. Or get called for holding on first down, making it 1st and 20 on the first fucking offensive series of the game.

Warren Sapp will not shower rub shit on himself, and get at least two sacks.

Jano will miss at least one makable field goal ,and those points will bite us in the ass later maybe.

Are receivers will refuse to get open; all except for Curry who will get open only to drop the sure TD pass, or get pushed out at the one yard line. Setting up a goaline situation forcing Kiffen to get creative with the play calling. Instead of running the ball in from the one; Kiffen will roll McCown out to use his inaccurate passing arm possibly forcing a INT or a fumble.

Huggy Bear might take one to the house on a long run I feel it coming.

Howard or Morrison will get a INT early but are offense will fail to capitalize due to Kiffen making predictable play calls.

McQuistan will get beat easily and give up a sack.

Considering any of these things happen, I still see the Raiders winning this game 16 - 3
