I hve to admit I'm coming around to that point of view. The Giants do suck. Although I'll never give up.
Here are my three teams:
Raiders
Giants
Sonics
You do the math.

Bones: How do you feel about the Sonics turning over the roster and starting fresh? You're going to have a solid core of kids in a couple years. I bet you're hoping it works its way into dynastic proportions.
I'm wondering how the Lakers are going to work around that 9000lb gorilla. If they just let him walk in 09 it's going to be sick.

Starting fresh with the pending problems with keeping the team in Seattle might not be the best thing. With the addition of Durant the Sonics could easily have made a playoff run and be pretty good next year. Now with 2 or 3 young rookies on the squad they are really going to be starting over. Plus now they need a shooting guard in the worst way. Lewis seems the bait to get that down somehow.
I'm not sure what is going to happen to the Sonics. It seems they are on their way out of town but Oklahoma City doesn't render pictures of a high powered NBA town to me. We'll see. this new owner over paid for the team and now he's got himself in a pickle. But the City of Seattle has got trouble too. People are just sick of building half-a-billion buildings for sports teams. We'll see how it shakes out.

Be glad your not a Pittsburgh Pirates fan......I guess there are a bunch of fans that are having a walk out this Sat. during the third inning of a home game.........we have been bad for at least 15 years................It's gone on so long, the Nuttings own the team but need to sell it to someone willing to clean house and start this over. Managment to players.
The real shame is we have some talented guys! We could compete with a small amount of better players and better coaching and managment.....

I'm a half-assed sonics/mariners fan.
The sonics got younger and more versatile with Durant/Green. Losing Allen is tough to do but hes older and injured... it makes sense. We need a 2 or for Durant to show that versatility... Lewis will be back or signed and traded for a 2. Let Lewis and Durant do the 3-4 thing. Its a basis for a good team.... now to keep them around.

The mre I read te more I'm warming to the trade of Ray Allen. His value will never be higher and the Sonics got the 5th pick in the draft for him plus West and the guy whose name I can't spell. Yep they got young, athletic and more versatile in a heartbeat.

They got that Wally Syzerback (??) kid.
They're saying Durant's gonna play shooting guard.
I used to love the Sonics... Karl was the man. Since he was pushed out the team has been run by complete assholes.
Constantly rebuilding, no direction... I mean how perfect is it for McMillen to come home and start his coaching career? The man was destined to do it... but even he can't work his dream job for these numbnuts.
I have a bad feeling they're leaving town, this new ownership had the whole Behring stink on it since the beginning.
It's their own damn fault. They ran an elite franchise into the ground, letting fucking Wally Walker run the show for God knows what reason?!?!... now after a decade of bullshit they want the taxpayer to build them a new arena to replace the one that was redone 15 years ago.
The way they've run that franchise there just isn't the interest anymore for a huge cash payout for the benifit of the team... I just can't see it happening.
The ever present Giant's suck thread. We need to get real people. The Giants are an up and coming team, and we all need to get behind them. We will soon have Manny, and that will put us up over the top!:bugeye:
