No way... it's Defensive Back or bust! My money's on Reggie Nelson or Leon Hall.

Nelson has to be faster. I like Michigan and Hall isnt exactly fast.
OT- Joe Staley is gonna be a nice pick for us in rd 2

Both ya knuckleheads may end up being correct... Let's not forget that Ginn entered Ohio St as the most highly recruited cornerback in the country and was later switched to WR... and he has said he would like to play both spots... :D
I will be so unimaginably pissed off if we draft Ginn anywhere in the top 10 picks. FFS.. NOOOOO.

If we were able to acquire another mid 1st rounder, I wouldn't be opposed to drafting him as our 1a pick. Dude has some serious explosion.
Chris Carr did some fine work as a returner, but Ginn Jr. would be an instant upgrade IMO.
Sadly, I can imagine Davis pulling a Janikowski on us and picking Ginn #1 overall. The reason I say I'd be pissed if we draft Ginn anywhere in the top 10 is because there are at least 10 other guys in the draft who I believe are demonstrably superior talent.. and when you're dead last in offense, you don't reach/speculate with that high of a pick.
Ugh. I can see it now. Feh.

Hopefully his ankle hurts and he wont run a 4.2...

found this interesting...
Adrian Peterson on the team he'd like to play for:
I wouldn't mind the Texans. Being able to go back to my home state [he's from Palestine, Texas] and having my family there would be nice. Also, the Raiders, i have rooted for them growing up.. Obviously Dallas would be on the list, but I am pretty sure they won't have a high enough pick to get me.

Gawd Damn that MF'er is fast

Yeah he's damn fast. That's what scares everybody. You know Al and his stop watch. Ginn somewhere except the #1 pick (or the first Raiders pick) works for me. We have to parlay that #1 pick into something special.
Hell I would love for the Raiders to trade down ... come on Al just once. Do the Nation a solid and trade down. Pickup another 2nd, draft Quinn at around #7, ship Moss to GB for that 16th pick thingie people are pimping; grab Lynch and then Miller in the second and use our new second on that tackle Nips was slobbering over in that other thread.
Come on Al you can do it -- just once.

That all makes waaaaay too much sense.

Hey, the man brought in a young, vibrant coaching staff from college (and the Atlanta Falcons !!), is going to release Aaron Brooks, etc.
I'm on board with every move thus far.
