The media is absolutely going to crucify Al if we don't take Quinn. Who the hell knows. Is it finally time to throw a franchise QB against the wall?

Hey man, enjoy the first good thing to happen to us this season. Detroit gave us the #1 pick. We can take whoever we want. Right now there doesnt seem to be a surefire obvious #1. Brady Quinn hasnt really seperated himself that far yet IMO. But after the bowl games, combines etc. It will be nice to be able to take whoever we like and not be at the mercy of the Lions. Not to mention we can make out like a bandit and trade B.Quinn's #1 overall pick status to somebody. Maybe Weis will come here and draft his golden child, haha.

If he practices well that week, I think he'll seperate himself from the pack.

Good Senior bowl practices seem to be the surest way to improve draft position.

We could end up trading down three spots, picking up a 2nd and a 3rd this year and having about 6 picks on day one. (Assuming Woodson nets a 3rd rounder)

It helped New England win 3 super bowls, when Bellichek had 2 straight deep, solid drafts.

They also had Tom Brady though.

In most cases, Senior Bowls tend to help more than hinder, despite popular belief.

Breaking it right down, I think coaches like to see players compete and go out and prove something...Not sit on the sideline and wait for an agent to start talking about private workouts and endorsements.

Seems unlikely but hey it's the NFL...you never know. It wold seem Weiss would have some sort of comfort level bringing his QB with him.

If Weiss is looking for the ultimate challenge in the NFL he need look no further. :D

I read the Lions won't be coaching the Senior Bowl cause Marinelli had hip replacement surgery. Truthfully, if I was the NFL I wouldn't pick us to coach the Senior bowl because our offensive staff is so inept it wouldn't be fair to those offensive players that get stuck with us that week.

I'm still on Adrian Peterson's jock... but the more the season went on and the more I saw from our quarterbacks, the closer I get to jumping onto the Brady Quinn bandwagon.

It helped us fall in love with Kirk Morrison a couple years back...He turned out good.:D
