Chargers fans have to love what they saw in him last night.
He was very efficient in throwing the ball. He did a good job finding his guys. He showed a lot of moxie. He looked like a player beyond his age. Good for him. I hope he does well.

Gotta agree with youy. They proceeded slowly with Rivers in the first half but he made some nice throws, kept his eyes down field and showed something no Raiders QB has since Rich Gannon.
Think the Raiders blew it by passsing on Roethlisberger, Rivers, Cutler and Leinart?
I do.

Nah! Walter looked good too. Think of taking a snap behind our OL. Dude was absolute nails.

You guys gotta admit though...LT would make any QB look good when you hand off to him 31 times!! :)

Agreed. He has superior FUNCTIONAL mobility over all our QBs. If only he had the opportunity to not be playing behind 4+ scores with a retard OC in charge.. maybe we'd have something.
But, kudos to the Chargers, they certainly looked like the best team in the AFC West last night.

Woah! Hold on. There were times the playcalling was solid and the execution stunk. It's hard to set things up when nothing works. We had drives going and then Anderson drops a sure 1st down. There were other times we tried to get some rhythm and we got turnstile protection. I can't blame the OC for playcalling. Sure I'd have changed some things. I'd have run variants of that WR screen to Moss as long as it got me 4-5yards, and then gone over the top when they rolled up or ran a quick stop. In my book there were not enough quick passes. There's always talk about getting the QB into a comfort zone, but the only way to do that was to get the OL clicking. The play-calling didn't allow that, but that's my only real bust on the play-calling.
