Well that wasn't cool.
Other than the opening drive of the night there wasn't much to get really excited about. The team looks a lot like last year to me.
Gonna be tough. Now the Chefs and then Philly. Can you say 0-3? Well it gets way better after that --- we get San Diego after that at home! :o

it's gonna be a lonnnnng season...It's entirely possible -- both things you refer to.
I am talking to myself 'cuz there aren't any people here
It could be a loooong year for both of our teams.
We'll see how they shake out this week. Should be very telling! :(
So long as we sweep Denver, life will be peachy.

In leiu of this weekend's grudge match against Kansas City I only have one thing to add:
KILL THE DAMN CHEFS !!!!!
Seriously though, what is the injury status for the chefs? I think our pass rush will be much more effective this game than it was in week-2. Trent Green must go down often & hard.....

I still think given the stakes and the fact our players have been learning to win that we can do it this Sunday. I know most Chief fans would disagree but this will be our season if we can beat them in Arrowhead. Three losses in the AFC West and four in the AFC overall isn't a formula for a playoff spot. We have little chance IMO to get into the playoffs as a wild card.

Phil we've got 2 chances to get into the playoffs: slim and none. But slim hasn't left the building yet.

BUT, if we win Sunday, Silm might stay around for another week! :p
If we can just leave enough bruises on KC and Denver to keep them out of the platoffs, I'll call this season a success.
Well, let Denver go to the playoffs. They'll just get mangled by Indi anyway. If you can't get enjoyment from watching Indi slap a bunch of orange clad dummies around for 3 hours once a year, I just don't know what to say about you. Yeah, I'd rather it be us doing the slapping, but until we put together a contender, that just ain't likely to happen.
